Bower Inn in Sedgemoor

Lovely pub with great food. The atmosphere is welcoming as are the staff who are polite and courteous. We would certainly visit again with the seasonal menu change which will hopefully have a little more variety. The reason for the start missing is the menu having meals with similar ingredients and staff not checking during the meal for quality or drinks

Went for lunch, didn't book but we're able to get a table. Good selection on the menu. We both opted for the beer battered cod & chips. Crispy batter and moist cod. It was great. Glad we went for the lighter portions as we weren't stopping for long. Great service & food.

We have stayed at the Bower five weekends over the past 6 months and have been so impressed by the friendliness of Andy and Charlotte's team. All the staff are very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The food is great, the service is excellent and the rooms are very clean. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent food, taste hot not skimpy with food. Amazing happy with this food.. mmmm. Staff great and general manager Andy total star!!. Will 100 per cent come back. Open fire lovely decore lovely place. 😍

Absolutely lovely Pub service is very good staff very friendly the manager is a very nice person and friendly the food is amazing dog friendly as well only in the pub area.Their Sunday roast is very good when I saw the large portions I ordered a child’s portion and the size of the fish wow that is huge and looks delicious. Yes I would recommend to any one to have a try at this lovely friendly pub the Bower Inn Bridgwater .

Stayed for one night at Bower Inn. Nice room, lovely breakfast. Really nice pub with a large log burner, unfortunately they had no logs so the manager kindly destroyed some old wooden chairs to get it going, a little smokey at first 🤣. Food was lovely, staff were a good laugh, whiskey was great. Thanks again.

A lovely welcoming inn. The room was very nice and the food was excellent. The service was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend.

We have just had the pleasure of staying for 5 nights at the Bower Inn, Bridgewater. .Julie & I can honestly say we could not find fault for the entire duration of our stay.From initial check in the Management team of Andy, Kate & Charlotte passionately led their entire team in providing us exemplary customer service, nothing was too much trouble, there was always a smile & a can do attitude from all.The room was stunning & immaculate, housekeeping were conscientious & efficient & maintained high standards of cleanliness & sanitisation daily, with bedding being completely changed every two days.The variety on the menu, & quality of food exceeded expectations with every meal consumed, tasty, piping hot & served extremely efficiently by willing competent staff.Room, Meal & Drinks were reasonably priced, I’ve paid a lot more for a lot less!!!The location was fantastic to easily drive to various local attraction’s & coastal locations.This place undoubtedly delivers proper good Old English standards, which has been a privilege to experience & we feel somewhat humbled that these standards are still maintained, even after the extreme hardships the Covid pandemic has inflicted on this Industry over the last couple of years.A really big thank you to the entire team from us both.We will soon be back.Malc Mckay

From the warm welcome from the manager to the well appointed luxury bedroom where had the best night's sleep for ages a pure pleasure. If you ever find urself in the area its worth a visit..

Very nice calming atmosphere. With a good selection of beverages on tap and a good variation in food types from roasts to starters. I recommend this place to anyone seeking a small and cosy pub with bit of time to really enjoy themselves
