Brent House Restaurant in Sedgemoor

This was our 1st visit since lockfiwn. The owners have completely renovated and updated the restaurant. It is set out beautifully with good spaces between the tables. The chairs are so comfortable. The standard of the food has not been compromised. We had 4 carvers. Great choice of sides to accompany. The range of desserts remains excellent and thankfully you still have the opportunity to take your desserts home if you are full from the carvery. The staff are as helpful as always. It is good to be able to return.

The surroundings are modern and airy. Refurbishment recently has been done to high standard. The carvery is legendary and very tasty.. Excellent quality meats and plentiful vegetable choice. Very good value too. Recommended.

First visit since the very impressive re-fit, looks fantastic 👏 👌 Staff make you feel very welcome, the carvery is outstanding so much meat. So many puddings to choose from. Will definitely be returning soon. Best Carvery I've ever had. *****

Very clean, big enough for large parties and busy days, child friendly and gave options for dietary requirements. The meat on the carvery was lovely, not dry at all like other carveries. The spuds and veg were also cooked as should be. Only criticism was the mash and bubble and squeak were a little flavourless. Overall great value and great place.

As a family (and we are a large one) have been going to the Brent house for many years now and it just gets better and better, the food is always of a good quality and staff are always helpful. Since the refurbishment this place now looks amazing and there is lots of space to move around and feel safe with the pandemic. Both my husband and I had to shield and felt safe as all the staff wear masks which for us has kept us attending most weeks. The new system means that the staff serve you directly, but don’t worry if you want more than they place you just need to ask for more there is no reduction in the amount of food that you may wish to have, and in fact if you wish to go back for more vegetables and gravy they are more than happy to serve you. Fabulous staff good food what more could you ask for. The only negative is the prices have increased to £12.99 per carvery and around £5 for a desert but still worth it in our book.

Came in for a late Mother’s Day meal with my family today a table of 6, instantly greeted by staff members who were all friendly and professional. Fantastic food full of choices and the best pork crackling! The service was excellent from start to finish, mum even had help back to the car from the gentleman there. If I could give you 6 * I would. Defiantly will be seeing us again

Thank you to Brent House for the wonderful service and tasty carvery. We went in tonight for my daughters 16th. I took balloons, banners and a cake topper earlier in the day and I was able to just hand it over and they arranged it all. Including bringing the cake out. I couldn't have wished for anything better. The servers were patient and incredibly helpful.The food as always was plentiful. Fantastic all round. My daughter had a brilliant evening. Thank you all so much.

We celebrated my 60th birthday here today with my family, 15 children and 14 adults. The food was, as always, tasty, plentiful and very well cooked. The desserts are really good and huge but you can always take them away with you if you can't manage to eat it after your carvery. Although we were a large party the staff couldn't do enough for us and were very patient while we all decided what we wanted. We will definitely be going back there again.

The staff are lovely. So attentive. The meals are delicious. I've been going there since the 1980s and the only thing that changes is the decor. The level of service nor the meals ever change. I love going there. We went there for my sons 40th birthday. We'll worth the money

I have been many times for the past 10 years & have always had a brilliant meal. The food is high quality, well cooked & you always get more than enough. I have been a few times since the renovation and it's beautiful inside, really spacious and airy. The staff are always welcoming and friendly & I can't praise them enough. It's definitely my place of choice for a well cooked carvery & every time I have visitors I always take them. It's well worth a visit and it's really not expensive. I can't compliment it enough.
