Great fish and chips 👍🏻 I've been a few times after climbing in the gorge and never disappointed! Everything is cooked fresh so you know it hasn't been sitting on the warmer all day. The guys there are also always friendly and welcoming. Go check it out!

I have used this fish and chip shop on numerous occasions, but very disappointed by last visit a week ago. We had popped down to the fish and chip shop, unfortunately there was a small queue. However decided to wait, but it was not worth it.The service seemed to be very slow. When we got our food home chips were barely warm and the curry sauce was stone cold and horribly thick.Really disappointed as previously food has been okay, however will probably choose not to go here again.

Goood fish and chips. Good large portion. Plus gave us free onion rings. Worth every penny and more. The waiting staff are lovely too. Would give 10 stars if I could. If you like fish and chips then it's a must visit.

Another fabulous fish supper this evening....lovely light crispy batter and generous portions. Friendly attentive service from Jack. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Very entertaining fish bar, very friendly. Freshly cooked food while you wait with 5* restaurant style, when I heard "20 seconds on the sausage and fishcake is on the pass" I knew I was in for a treat 😋 jokes aside the food was absolutely amazing

Very nice food, friendly staff with great service. Reasonable prices. Unfortunately hot drinks rely on a coffee machine which was out of order when we visited.

We are not local to Cheddar and went here to take my granny for a 90th birthday lunch. They wrote her a handwritten card and gave us 50% off the whole order !!! Amazingly fresh and moist fish in tender batter, and enormous portions - we eat a lot and we couldn't finish it all! Amazing, kind customer service, people you can have a genuine conversation with, and with a lovely sense of humour. Would go again and again!

Good till service. Felt welcomed. Didn't have much of a veggie choice. But was impressed with the fact that they cooked my other chips in veggie oil not beef. Which my wife loved. So thank you 😊

Great food and great atmosphere. Staff genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Food was slightly overpriced but it was very nice. Would recommend for a quick meal if you're in Cheddar.
