Friendly atmosphere and well kept local beers. Home cooked food, varied though typical pub food. There were several rooms for various functions and gatherings plus a sports screen

Lovely meal on Saturday afternoon. There was a great choice of food and drinks available but when another customer was served a pulled pork baguette I just had to have it. Pic doesnt give justice! Lovely clean and tidy pub with a restaurant area and another area I believe may be called the snug? All in all lovely atmosphere. Good size back garden which must be lovely in the summer but has adequate shelter and seats already Finally the staff are all fabulous and the landlord and lady do a fab job.Would definitely visit again10/10 highly rated

Relaxing and warm atmosphere on a cold Saturday. Delicious soup.Teabag in a cup odd, rather than a teapot, for a second cuppa. Efficient service. Sign of the times portions a tad on the small side for the price. Less waste I imagine and one can hardly blame the hospitality industry with the knock they've taken with lock downs in the last two years

Very welcoming traditional pub. Great staff and Managers, we had our company staff meal here for Christmas and had a great time. Many thanks to them.

Warm welcome Nice evening meal. Cottage pie was served with Chips and Peas. Would have been better if served with another green veg or carrots. Sunday Roast Good, Beef and chicken very good. We were not offered desserts or coffee on either occasion. If You want a quiet room to eat, suggest request the Snug.

Absolutely amazing place for birthday celebrations and drinks, meal with friends! My party was a blast! Guest room decorated with fairy lights and balloons, delicious cake made for me too, live band was fab and atmosphere too! Can't recommend enough!

Phoned and reserved a table here and was greeted at the door and asked where we would like to be seated, the restaurant, bar or garden, the food was outstanding as was the table service. I would definitely recommend The Globe Inn.

Like entering the twighlight zone. Not unpleasant, but very confusing. Booked for lunch on a Sunday expecting a full menu as per the website menu times. Arrived and told that there is only Sunday lunch on a Sunday which is fair enough I suppose but that wasn’t mentioned on booking and doesn’t seem to be mentioned on the website. Sunday dinner was either a chicken or Pork roast, both if which were of a fair quality for the price and generous in portion. We asked if there were desserts and the reply was “we have very few left”, accompanied by the sort of gesture that suggested we weren’t going to gain access to the remaining deserts. We took that to mean yes there are but we don’t really want to sell you any :-S…….Then things took a bizarre turn when the table next to us got brought the desert menu???? And when they ordered desert they mentioned seeing the previous tables deserts come out and that they looked delicious. What???Staff were friendly but again just a bit odd. If anything we had a good chuckle.

Great food, lovely beer garden, and friendly staff. The food was reasonably priced and high quality. They even did a side salad for us when it wasn’t on the menu, and served everything with a smile. Highly recommend!
