What a little gem! Fabulous food and hospitality at lunch time today, the landlady was so attentive and my 5 year old wants to go back tomorrow! Lovely food , nice wine and a bonus game of skittles. Thank you !

The best steak and chips I've ever had. Friendly staff and fellow diners. Wish I lived nearer.

We have just arrived home after having a most enjoyable Sunday Roast at the The King William inne.It was our first time, having not been there before. On our arrival we were greeted by a very nice man who showed us to our table, with excellent comfortable chairs. Our roast beef was excellent too, very tender and plenty of it, the Yorkshire puds were large and a nice lot of vegetables. The staff were so friendly, they made us feel at home. The only gripe if we had one, is that the food could have been a lot hotter. I still give it 5 ⭐️ and we will definitely be back

Stopped here for a bite to eat and some drinks after a long walk through the countryside. The welcome we received was very friendly. We are on holiday in Somerset and the staff here were very helpful with places to get cider and other areas to visit. The cider on tap of Dorset Orchards Gold was delicious. The food we had was so good that we booked for Sunday lunch the next day. When they heard how much of a walk we had and having to walk along a busy road with children they even offered to give us a lift back to our lodge.I would definitely recommend this lovely village pub!Edit.Just got back from a lovely Sunday lunch. The roast pork was delicious. The red cabbage tasted like it had cinnamon in it which was a lovely touch. Very tasty indeed. And all the staff were very friendly again.

A great place for our first family meal out in a long time. Kind-hearted and polite staff with a great sense of humour, a rustic setting plus amazing food: My vegan burger was just like the real thing. Looking forward to returning when it's fully reopened.

Absolutely fabulous takeaway vegan roast, tasty, and very reasonably priced.Served with a smile, and included mustard and cranberry sauce, at my request. Will definitely be enjoying again soon, the perfect way to finish a long dog walk.Thank you for making my Sunday!

had a lovely meal last night, the starters and main courses were perfect. If you have a campervan ring ahead to see if you can stay over.

Came upon this quaint country pub by accident. We had a lovely lunch and couple of drinks and will definitely go back. Recommended
