Went here Saturday night to celebrate my partner birthday had a really nice meal, staff are superb and very attentive and food excellent quality I had the MOAB burger and when it arrived at the table I now know why it is called that.. Mother Of All Burgers especially with the two sauces I had pepper and garlic, I would highly recommend going here you won't be disappointed

Been here half a dozen times, never has it ever disappointed. The south african glaze they cook baste the steak in wow takes it to the next level. Cant wait to return.

What an incredible experience. The staff are absolutely amazing, so attentive, and you can see what a well oiled ship the entire operation is.Food is incredible - hands down best steak I've ever had.Great selection of whiskies and other drinks with some local ciders (of course) and beersExpect to be looked after very well here, with absolutely no feeling of being rushed.

The George Inn is a lovely place to dine. It's warm and friendly and serves some of the best steaks around. I was on a water fast at the time and the staff and chef asked many questions about it, even though I was drinking mineral water and my friends devouring steaks they still made me feel very welcome. I couldn't recommend The George Inn enough and would love to go back again and again. If you haven't been before... Go!

Absolute perfection. Not only is the food amazing the staff are so attentive. The chef and his wife both took the time to come and see us at our table. They also spoilt our dog!!! this place is definitely worth a visit.

Let's be honest, this place deserves 5+1 star for how shief executing every bit of meat he cooks. I'm a shief and picky eater same time, my tuna was perfection which am not even going to compare to posh restaurants in city's I've been eating and trying to find a perfect tuna steak or fillet steak, no one stands even close what I had on my plate in George Inn.Big Thanks for amazing experience and my compliments to the chief 🤝 and the team.

The whole experience was amazing!!! The steak was defo one of the best steaks we've ever had!!! Furthermore, staff was very attentive and welcoming even our Frenchie got some sirloin and fillet!!! Would defo revisit next time we are back in Somerset!!!
