Lived here over 4 years - never ventured down the road for chips - dismal ‘summer day’ today - decide to try the online delivery service - thank you so much / super quick delivery and great fish and chips 👍

Friendly service as always; fish cooked to order. Good size portion and tasty. Can park outside which is great for collection.

Great food hot and was all cooked fresh while I waited a short time for it to be ready. Staff was friendly and helpfull

We tried the Fish Bar for the first time last evening. The good points: The people behind the counter were all very cordial. Although super busy, they were still pleasant. The chips are given in an enormous quantity. If you're after a massive meal of chips, this is the place. Now, the not so good news. The fish wasn't nice. The batter was soggy, not at all crispy, and we only live a mile from the shop. It was flat and tasted like it was steamed instead of fried. My husband, a Londoner, gave the chips a big thumbs-up as he said they were very similar to what he used to get as a lad. But he agreed with me about the fish. Will we try it again? Maybe...but not on a night when there's a line outside. We want to give the fish another try to see if it's crispy the next time before completely writing it off.

Passing through on my way home to Cornwall. Scampi and chips. Freshly cooked, lovely crisp and light scampi and the best chips I've had in a long while. Will definitely pass by to call in again.

Having spent most of my childhood going into "Pevvy" chip shop, it never fails us, great food at a really good price. Always would highly recommend to anyone in the village or people passing through.

They ignored both me and my mother for a good 5 minutes as they were too busy talking to someone else to take our order. When we did ask they said they couldn't accommodate our gluten free diet. If I could rate no stars I would. So I guess they don't serve gluten free fish and chips any more

Friendly service and great chips. Nice firm and dry chips. Not all greasy and floppy. Go here quite regular now from Bridgwater. It's a shame the battered burger is cooked to order as it's quite greasy when not having time to drain a bit. Still go there though because of the chips.

Used this for the first time last night on my way home from work having moved 12 months ago, why have I not stopped here before is criminal! the staff were really friendly and omg the chips are were amazing. Award winning in my opinion. Thank you
