The food is very good and good value staff are helpful and pleasant clean and tidy restaurant recommend it

Stopped off here for lunch and to meet up with friends.Our whole experience of the Nutmeg was impeccable, food and service was second to none.How lucky the people of Bridgewater are having this little gem in the middle of their town.

Omg where do I start staff was very friendly and as I was stood there waiting to be served they appoligized cause they needed to do something quick and it was a bit busy not one member of staff was sat down doing nothing all very happy and smiley not only upon arrive but for the whole time I was there food was amazing and just the right portion prices is very reasonable and would deffo come back here again I have a baby and he was screaming where he not long had jabs but no-one was I liked up and down very calming place to eat

Lovely food! Nice warm cosy environment, the staff are so kind and welcoming. Best place to pop in even if it is just for a quick coffee. Highly recommend the nutmeg! You will feel like your at a second home!

What a welcoming place to drink and eat. I went with friends after the town Christmas light switch on. I kind off stumbled upon it (literally) even later in the evening they had a fantastic range of cakes (so good I took some home for breakfast) definately worth another visit.

Took my Nan in for some lunch, staff looked down on me and spoke very patronisingly. Food wasn’t all that, coffee tasted cheap and nasty. Shame as had heard good things but won’t be back after this experience.

I was so happy at first with the breakfast. But then after a few days . I went in and ordered the same as ive ordered before and they refused the fried bread. Because apparently they dont do it. I explained that they did it before and she said. I know but im not doing it. So 20 pound a day. They have lost. Im not happy at all.

I’ve never written a negative review for a business before but our experience here this morning was utterly disgraceful.We found hairs in our food and the cutlery was incredibly dirty. After a long wait for this food we sent it back and asked for a refund. No apology, stinking attitude and just 0 customer service skills. When we sent the food back we were just told ‘oh right’ by the ‘manager’ and ‘oh FairPlay I’m new here’ by a gentleman that was new.I tried to approach the business owner for a quiet chat afterwards but was told that the rude lady that took our food away was the business owner. They just weren’t interested in the slightest and clearly aren’t interested in repeat business.You’d think after the rubbish year it’s been for hospitality, they’d treat their customers with respect and care.Much better service with the previous owners. Shame.Would certainly not recommend this place

Excellent breakfast, great value for money and exceptional customer service.3 x large breakfast order. 1x fussy eater, swapped eggs and mushrooms for extra sausage and bacon, no issue.Breakfast arrived promptly. Staff were friendly and facilities clean.

Amazing food and top notch service. A must have stop for coffee, cake and some quality food. And the best breakfast for sure.
