Very simple but exactly what we wanted as passing cyclists! Great filter coffee, good treacle tart and good options for vegan/vegetarians. Lovely setting with stunning views across to Wales.

Lovely view while I had my birthday lunch with my bestie. Very welcoming and good food,would highly recommend.

Average. Nice setting. Pleasant decor but senior staff lacked any courtesy or engagement. Waitress was good considering. Wouldn’t rush back but a useful place to stop if nearby.

The full English breakfast is top quality and a generous serving too. The coffee is good too and from an espresso machine - we had flat whites, which were great. There was a good selection of cake too.Would definitely recommend and we'll be back on our next trip to Quantock hills

Beautiful location, decent food, lovely staff

Been here several times over the last year and food always excellent! Last two visits, also very fast service even when the place was full. Menu changes all the time. Last winter on a rainy lunchtime the owner knocked up a superb beef stew. Dog friendly and great views.

We had the best ever full English veggie breakfast at the Pines Cafe. Hash browns, fried bread, mushroom, fried egg, beans and tomato with loads of buttered toast! Absolutely brilliant!The coffees were also really well made and came quickly. We probably waited about 20 minutes for our food, but it was so fresh and hot, I think they were making everything from scratch.Reading the other reviews, I wonder if there has been a change of management because we will definitely go back.

We stopped at The Pines with friends over the bank holiday weekend for an amazing brunch. The owner offered to make us some Spanish omelettes which were really tasty. The two girls serving couldn't have been more helpful.It was nice and busy whilst we were there and our food arrived without delay.Well done guys - we will be back......
