Quantock in Sedgemoor

Passing by and wanted lunch, fantastic location on nice spring day. The food was very good and reasonable to prices. Staff friendly and attentive. Recommended and will be back soon, probably for a breakfast?

My family arrived today 21/3/2022 to have lunch 3 people and 2 dogsDue to soft ground one of the dogs had jumped onto soft ground.When we went upstairs the dogs paws made some marks.My daughter apologised to the woman who looked like the managers wifeSome bloke then arrived and started yelling at my daughter shouted at her and walked away.If you don’t like dogs on the premises why permit them.Also cash is king learn some manners .After several visits much enjoyed we will never return.

Hidden Gem!Lovely decor, welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing breakfast. Quality ingredients and couldn't fault it. If I was being picky I would have liked to see some black pudding but many wouldn't lol.We will most certainly be back

We were staying in Stogursey for the weekend and found this great place a few minutes drive away.We enjoyed a late lunch and a breakfast a couple of days later. The food was good quality and best tasty; the staff were friendly and efficient.We are both times in the upstairs area and although the weather was rubbish we still enjoyed the views of the hills in the distance and the tractors in the foreground. I could imagine it being delightful here on a sunny day during outside.Thoroughly recommend.

Visited the 'Kitchen at Quantock Lakes' yesterday for lunch and on entry we were greeted immediately by a friendly face and seated quickly, the drinks order was taken first and came very fast. We were given time to peruse the menu and make choices from a differing and comprehensive selection whilst enjoying the drinks. The waitress took our order in a pleasant and courteous manner. The cutlery was placed in paper wallets for cleanliness and a choice of condiments were readily available. Both of our dishes were first class and served with fresh side salads and skinny fries, the Chicken Wrap was delicious. The front of house staff were attentive without being overbearing in a generally all-round relaxed setting and comfortable atmosphere, they are polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return too this establishment and it thoroughly deserves this 5 star review.

We have attended many of the special events and have always had enjoyable evenings. The staff are welcoming and friendly, service has been excellent and the food superb. The restaurant is clean and the seating arrangements are such that you are not too close to other customers. We ate here on numerous occasions whilst restrictions were in place due to covid and always felt safe. You will never leave here feeling hungry! The portion sizes are good and if you are unable to finish any courses the staff are more than happy to provide boxes for you to take the food home. We would highly recommend this restaurant for the variety of food and the friendly service.

We have visited Kitchen multiple times and have had a great experience each time. The food is delicious and the prices mirror the quality of the ingredients and standard you expect. My favourites are the steak sandwich, the breakfasts, and the sweet dessert waffles are a must have! The staff are always friendly and on hand for anything you need and the location is beautiful.

I visited The Kitchen at Quantock Lakes last Sunday with a family member who was visiting for the first time in 2 years from Houston, Texas, USA. We were a party of 4, 3 adults and 1 child. It was, without doubt, the best Sunday lunch any of us have ever had. The food was amazing and the service was friendly, professional and everybody went out of their way to ensure we were happy and had what we wanted. Thank you to all at The Kitchen for a great meal and a lovely lunchtime.

We had a fabulous lunch here, food is all freshly prepared, a good choice on the menu including vegetarian and vegan. The service is quick and friendly, our doggie and baby friends were quickly settled in. Our order arrived swiftly and we enjoyed it whilst admiring the views from the terrace. Staff are attentive and friendly and made the whole occasion a perfect family lunch for us all. Thank you, we will be back!
