"he Red Tile Inn has been owned by Mac and Rachel McKenzie since July 2015, we are a family run pub serving Real Ales and fine Wines. We offer homemade pub grub, all prepared by our excellent chefs, in our own kitchen. All our meats are from local butchers, Somerset produce at its best. We welcome dogs of all sizes. We have a skittle alley free to use by all our customers when its not in use by our thriving Skittle league. The Inn was opened in 1861 and named The Cossington Inn, it changed to The Red Tile Inn in the early 80s."

Brilliant, friendly, good customer service, very helpful with disabled customers. Clean. Good toilets, not sure they have disabled.

My wife and I first time visiting the Red Tile, and we were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. The food was off good quality and the portions were very generous. We will be returning again and I would recommend to all to enjoy an evening at the Red Tile.

we tried to book several pubs in the area for a family meal. this is the only one we could get in and it quickly became apparent why. welcome was non existent, customers were not wanted and that was clear, talking to a local most had long abandoned it. when food did arrive two plates were very hot but food still frozen in middle. Complaint fell on deaf ears, best avoided.

Very nice to eat and drink. Food excellent . Very friendly staff. Would recommend if passing through or staying for a break in the area.

Book your table if you want to try a great pub meal. Plenty of choice and guaranteed to be tasty and home cooked. Fresh food doesn't appear in a few minutes so enjoy a drink or 2 whilst you wait. It is a friendly pub and yes, we use it lots! Scampi or a steak or a home made curry there is something for everyone. If you can manage a dessert a slice of cheesecake is recommended. Have never left feeling hungry and heard many visitors complimenting the chef.

Visited this evening. 3 happy well fed people.Husbands beef and blue cheese burger was amazing. I think he had tears in his eyes when he thanked Mac.Me and daughter had veggie options. Really lovely food. Thank you Rachel and Mac

Stayed here last night, the food was excellent, spotlessly clean & made very welcome by the landlords. Peaceful nights sleep. Certainly recommend & look forward to returning.

Wow, took a last second turn off the A39 as The Red Tile was signposted just before the turn. It was a snap decision to eat here but so glad we did. Honest pub food that is very well made with quality fresh ingredients. The hunters chicken was just perfick! Heres my before and after pics.
