Sundowner Bar and Restaurant in Sedgemoor

Disgraceful prices, food not very good, service even worse. Much better when the old owners ran this place. Now just overpriced rubbish. You have been warned.

Ideal cafe just off the beach, clean and tidy. The staff are nice and friendly and helpful. I only had a quick drink there but the prices seemed very good .

Been coming here for several years and usually eat breakfast or lunch everyday of our weeks stay. Not anymore though. It was ridiculously overpriced that we actually queried the bill which wasn't itemised. Turns out ordering breakfast items seperately gets you ripped off. Beer at London prices (We live in the 3rd most expensive London borough and they were dearer. Also the chips came ready salted and not a small amount which is not stated. I don't eat salt on my food so couldn't eat them. We later went 2 hundred yards along the beach and the mobile van was much cheaper alongside other places nearby.

This place is a must! A family business that has been hugely expended. A great team and very well organised. The roast is always fresh and the desserts are to die for. Give it a go!

Be warned- massively overpriced food and drink here! £££ Convenient spot near to the beach with very friendly staff but £4.50 for a portion of chips which turned out to be mostly over fried scraps is a complete rip off. Be warned! Never again.

We stayed on the caravan park this bar is situated, so on Saturday evening we wanted a takeaway 12 inch Pepperoni pizza, but they seem to have had a very busy days, so only had 7" boxes, no problem, we decided to have 2x 7" pizzas, and 7" garlic bread. Even though they were busy, our order didn't take long, went back to the caravan to eat them, they were lovely and hot , tasted delicious 😋😋🍕🍕 best pizza we have had in a long time. Staff were very friendly and helpful, will call and get some more when visit again, thank you very much.

Nice walk along the beach to get there or if you want you can drive straight on the beach. we had a vey nice bacon cob . And the thatchers cider was very nice. it was clean and well kept but there was only one toilet which may be a bit of a problem when its busy.

Awful is the only word, this place has gone badly down hill big time.Ordered two breakfast cobs and cup of tea, £18 !! For what was just about edible, my wife left most of hers.The tables looked like they hadn't been cleaned for weeks, the same can be said for the cutlery, we didn't use them in the end.Looking locally we could have got a full English for less than £6 including tea.We always made a beeline for this place whenever we were down, sadly the new name and owners have given it a posh name which the place does not live up to.Not often I can be bothered to review somewhere but it really was that bad.

Nice friendly staff, great views of beach and fantastic place to watch the sun set.Ham and pineapple pizza was delicious, sorry no photos as It was that tasty. :) worth going to one afternoon while in brean.
