We've ordered from here quite a few times due to the kebabs as they are super yummy and value for money but the chips have a really funny taste to them. Not sure if the fryers need cleaning? Even had me sick the next morning:(

As a regular customer that goes there at least 2-6 times/week (depending how lazy i am to cook or if i am busy), today i was very disappointed. I ordered a large kebab, collection and to my surprise it was a medium kebab in a large package. Before, the plate you see in the picture was stuffed with meat and salads. Always it had more meat than salad. I arrived home, got cosy to watch a movie and eat and boom this surprise.What disappointed me more was the fact that they increased the price also. That kebab was before 7,80£ (2-3 days ago) and now it is 9,50£. So they increased the price with 20% and reduced the content of the kebab with 30%. That's a good deal for them, but bad for the customer.There is a say in my country: "First time you are tricked, it's the other one to blame. Second time you are tricked is your fault" . So to avoid any "fault", this was my last time i go buy from this place.Another thing that bothers me is that they only accept cash payments no card (i presume to avoid taxes or whatever...any decent business accepts card payments, even taxi drivers accept card payment). Every time i go there i need to withdraw money. I don't use cash money, so for me is quite a inconvenience. Now the problem is fixed because today was the last time i go at this kebab shop.

Booked a delivery for 20.30 to coincide with other half’s food arriving. Booked the delivery at 19.30, food arrived at 20.00. Chips were cold and no salt and vinegar as requested. Called to enquire why the food was early and cold? Told they had no record of our order! Ate cold dinner alone 30 minutes before wife ate hers alone. Not good enough for a £12.50 fish n chips! Will not be back

Just had gluten free fish & chips, probably the best fish & chips iv ever had .

People said this is a good chip shop but my first experience chips didn't taste great like the oil should of been changed along time ago, Maybe it's just tonight but I'm sure alot of people ordering tonight will feel the same way. Everything else was good but sorry unfortunately chips are not and other people even refused to eat them.

I ordered a doner kebab. I did not receive this. I received all the elements of a doner kebab and was expected to put it together myself. This was not what I expected from the description.

We were very dissatisfied tonight, the battered sausage tasted awful and the fish had so much grease coming from it. Unfortunately we wont be returning again. We had a large cod and chips the fish was huge but mostly batter and not crispy batter. 😥.

9 out of 10 for the fish, generous portions and crispy batter despite being wrapped in plastic and kept in a hot box. Huge portion of chips shared a regular between two and still have loads over. Only just seen the Food Hygiene score of 0 or I wouldn't have ordered!HOWEVER ...... ordering on line and paying buy card gives you a 50p Admin charge (really, what admin?) and then ... when you've ticked all the boxes avoiding the marketing ploy .... an email arrives showing a £2 delivery charge when ALL THE ADVERTISING says FREE LOCAL DELIVERY ON ORDERS OVER £10.... When I queried this I was told it was because I'd payed by card (So charging for credit cards is still legal in Bridgwater? I think not!) and when I pointed out that AT NO TIME did the website show this until after I'd processed the order all I got was "Oh, yeah ...sorry!"So there you go .... 3 stars and I'm being generous and could you PLEASE not use polystyrene dishes in this day and age!

We'd heard that this was a lovely fish & chip shop, so we decided to try it.The portions were very generous and I must admit it tasted nice, but an hour later, my husband & I were both unwell. My husband was up all night & he seemed to think that old chip fat was the cause.Maybe this was a one off, but we won't be going there again.

Nuggets nice, burger nice. Ordered a bottle of house wine - I don't have a car available at the moment so unable to get to the shops. Wine arrived. After dishing up the food, I noticed the wine was 8% and I had asked them to include a high % bottle of wine. I paid over £8 for this tripe
