The Bath Arms in Sedgemoor

Service is what made the difference here. Not overbearing and intrusive but really helpful and friendly. Lovely, full size toiletries in the bathroom which saves on plastic waste and fiddling with the usual little bottles you get. Bottled water and even some snacks in the room and fresh milk provided from the bar in a little flask - all lovely touches. We really felt comfortable and as if staff cared about our experience. Fab.

This is my local coffee morning place. Also lunch some times. Good varied menu. Clean place. Quick service. Plus my fur baby can come with us inside to eat. What a bonus. R.

Our room and ensuite was spacious and well maintained. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Sadly, the meals left a lot to be desired. The full breakfasts were served on cold plates so cooled very quickly. The roast dinner was pre cooked and tough..steak was also a disappointment. We asked for medium and it was served like leather.

We had a fantastic lunch here on BH Monday. We drive past all the time and the beer garden is always so busy, thought we'd try it for food. It was AMAZING and we're going back in 4 days with our family. Lovely little gem discovered in Somerset!

Beautiful meal in a lovely setting with impeccable service. Our first night in Cheddar and we were lucky to get a table at this pub. This was more haute cuisine than classic pub food, but the price was definitely worth it. Delicious halibut and scallops, melt off the bone beef short rib and a wonderful white wine from Somerset. I reccomend for a fancy meal out in the area.

Had a lovely weekend stay here in February, could not fault the hotel, staff or restaurant. Room was very well decorated and looked after, felt like the staff took care of us during the stay and the kitchen provided hearty options to start the day right. Would definitely stay here again if we was in the area

We stayed here for a couple of nights. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The full English breakfast was delicious. We would definitely recommend eating here as the food is plentiful and superb. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. We'd definitely stay here again.

Went there for an evening meal recently. It was one of those places where every item on the menu caught my attention and I would have loved to have ordered it all! The food and service was excellent, I shall definitely be going back.

The food was fire, as in it was fire, fire good. 😁 OK so it's been years since u have been in here and we decided to visit and oh my god we were blown away by the food, the quality, the freshness, the taste and combinations. I would highly recommend eating here. Staff were very nice, took good care of us. The place was busy, lost of reserved tables, luckily we got a table. Once you eat here you will understand why this place is so popular. We will definitely be back.

The food was absolutely incredible (the chef is a genius!) and reasonably priced as well, the staff were really friendly and attentive, everywhere was super clean and well decorated. There are literally no faults to this pub, we can't wait to come back!
