The Battered Fryer in Sedgemoor

We visited two fish and chip shops in Burnham.This is the one we would return too. Loved the fact they had a mini fish/chip meal for an adult.And the food was lovely too. Highly recommended to go slightly out of the way for this one.

Very nice, we had chips (lots) fish, pasty, pie and sausage.

We came here yesterday due the good reviews.We ordered 2 cod and large chips.The fish taste fresh and tasty. I was shocked with their large chips as it was a lot( a whole bag) while in London large chips wasn't even that much. I wasn't able to take a pictures because we ate it straightaway.

Freshly cooked cod and chips. Tasted beautiful. Service was friendly and happy to help. Served piping hot. Topped with a splash of salt and vinegar. If you want enjoy you fish n chips I would highly recommend here.

Lived in Burnham-on-Sea all my life, this is hands down the best chip shop in Burnham-on-Sea. Great portion sizes, wide variety of food, veggie, fish, burgers etc and good value for money. Only downside it isn't open longer. Staff are friendly and helpful, with parking and cash machine available at the petrol station opposite. Such a good place!

Absolutely stunning fish and chips from here!! The service is fantastic. The lady behind the counter is friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend a little visit for anyone who's near.

Staff are lovely in here and food is great. Big portions. 1 helping of chips will serve 2 ppl. Only order a large fish if you are looking to eat for the week.

It was OK :) would do the job, chips were good, battered sausage, didn't have crispy batter, the fish too, fish was lovely though apart from that, curry sauce was good, crumbed mushrooms great! The mushy peas though! Don't go there! :) weird colour, smell and flavour!

They cook the fish fresh while you wait about 10 minutes well worth the wait always busy

Absolutely delicious! The chips and haddock were amazing. Definitely the best we have tasted. The fish melted in the mouth & the chips were so tasty. My 15 year old son even commented how nice the chips and battered sausage tasted.
