Good beer, nice food and friendly service. The pub is very dog friendly too, which is great.

Ordered 1 pizza and 1 curry to take away - no indication of a delay at point of ordering and everyone else seemed to be eating - not waiting. After 40 minutes check on the order to which "just coming out the oven" was advised. 15 minutes later and i went back to the bar to check on our order and the food was handed to me. JUST FYI BOYS - the words "SORRY FOR THE DELAY" go a long way when someone is made to wait an hour outside for 2 meals!!!! If someone is likely to be made to wait that length of time let them know so they can make informed decision if to wait or not!!!!!! I will say the food was nice - just the wait and lack of empathy spoilt things.Thanks for your reply - and for your apology - i understand lack of communication between bar and kitchen but fail to understand lack of manners / decency - something to ponder on. Maybe the manager should be more hands on check whats going on - instead of replying to facebook reviews within 20 minutes of posting. im sure the bar / kitchen staff would appreciate this more?? ( i know your customers would)

We came to Brean for a day stop over with the dog and kids, it was pouring with rain so we found this place where dogs were welcome and the staff were great. Nice pub with decent food and reasonable prices.

Excellent beer & food Lad in the green t-shirt behind the bar was GREAT nice and friendly took my dog here she meet a lot of other great dogs and friendly people food was great beer spot on HOPE TO BE BACK THERE SOON, FIVE STARS TO A WILL RUN PUB EVEVN THE CHINESE & CHIP SHOP NEXT DOOR TO THE PUB, BREAN DOWN INN BRILLIANTLY COOK FISH & CHIPS ENJOYED MY TIME HERE THANK YOU !!!
