Just reopened and looking fantastic. Food here is amazing and the staff could not be more helpful. Dog friendly and a great selection of beer, wine and food. I recommend this pub as a place to visit.

I used to love this pub and their homemade food and great hospitality, I visited today and afraid to say the food really isn't what it used to be. I get they've been taken over etc but I can see them losing alot of previous locals etc because of the food. It reminds me of Whetherspoons, great on a one off or if your really hungry but not an intimate, filling meal. I dont think the children's menu has much choice either, and only one choice of flavour ice cream (vanilla) Staff are great with a few "originals" still there but i i wont be recommending or rushing back. Such a shame

I hadn't booked as expected Tuesday night to be quiet. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see it so busy! I was greeted almost immediately and shown to a table. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. Good parking and a quirker, cosy atmosphere

Been down here working and discovered this wonderful pub. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly, highly recommended from my point of view, I'll definitely be visiting again if I'm down here in the future.

Firstly in my opinion the food I had was unfortunately not good. I can't account for my fellow diners as they seemed to enjoy tasteless meals probably made by a monkeyMy mushrooms in particular were not cooked properly made me feel sick instantly. The gammon was a little under and the egg overService was a questionable aspect to say the least...i actually choked whilst there and in doing so was a little sick although it wasn't sick was just liquid and probably some mushroom from before..... the staff just said you must clean it up yourself so we did with paper towels as was just liquid but the rudeness i am shocked at ..I've just left here feeling quite queasy and unwell.I will not return and will urge others the same!!!

Had the most amazing meal here with family and friends. Best food I have eaten in 15yrs of living in Somerset. Absolutely piping hot cooked to perfection. No waiting time from arrival to ordering to eating. Staff went above and beyond. We even had room for desert. Which left us speechless. Can only say if you haven't been and tried this place you really need to book a table and enjoy.

What a lovely pub! We had a delicious meal and great service. Very generous portions! All of our meals were delicious. All the staff are lovely and so helpful. The landlady Gillian made us feel very welcome and next time we are in the area we will certainly be back! Thank you!

Nice pub with outdoor seating. Food arrived quickly, and was delicous. Very friendly staff, ready to help. Free parking, and plenty of spaces. Very reasonable prices. Open on a Tuesday, which was the area was a bonus.

Wow. A lovely little pub with amazing food and very large portions. It was quite busy when we went in and the lady behind the bar was busy but very friendly and efficient. Food was delicious and plentiful. Well worth a visit
