Wonderful little place. Very good food and super nice staff with a great selection of cakes and hot food.

Love this place the ladies are lovely and great value! We are now regulars :)

Absolutely horrible experience: the owner of this cafe told me - in front of my three very young children - that he would 'lock us in' if we did not hurry up.We entered the cafe at 1.40pm. The same man accepted our order - and money - without mentioning to us that they close at 2pm. At 2.15pm he and his wife were virtually chasing us out the door, and complaining that my toddlers do not eat as efficiently as the 40+year-old couple who came in just after me.The food may be cheap, but the experience was awful. My children were frightened, and we ended up having to leave with their food in their hands.

Not a bad café just off the front at Burnham. Went for Sunday lunch and though not the largest was very reasonably priced and well cooked. If the main course isn't enough they do sweets at very fair prices too. Only downside I could see is that there aren't many spaces (about 20 I guess) so it could get full up quite quickly.

We came here at 11:30am on Sunday, there were no customers and it was chucking it down with rain. All we wanted was a coffee (4 of us) and some toast or scones (there were some available on display). The lady clearly didn't want us in the cafe (3 adults 1 autistic child) and said she would only serve us a roast dinner (not really what you want at that time). I could understand if they were full but there was no one there. Really unfriendly. Avoid (there's plenty of other cafes in BOS who are more happy to serve families).

I'm a regular visitor to Burnham but have never used this cafe before. Certainly will be doing so in the future. Friendly couple and great food reasonably priced too.

·

Lovely food and polite service. Cheap red and brown sauce does somewhat spoil it. HEINZ or and HP SAUCE please it makes a huge difference.

·

Very nice husband and wife run cafe food is very good, with prices to match, i am a regular customer absolutely nothing negative to say

·

Actually I've not eaten here - I live upstairs! But Terry and Rene are charming neighbours. The cafe is very popular - especially their breakfast.

Lovely, simple, fresh-cooked food; chef friendly and welcoming; interior cosy and relaxing. Very reasonable price too! Really pleased I found this place, will definitely be back!
