Good as ever. Visited again 22.4.19 and was great. Fab food and lovely staff. There were 9 of us and 4 dogs and absolutely no complaints. Quick, well cooked and nice atmosphere. Thanks

Went here today to meet up with some family. What a gem of a pub. Very traditional decor, a nice enclosed garden and very dog friendly. All good was freshly cooked and tasted fab. Service was brilliant from all staff. The first if many Vists for sure.

Good pub grub . No pretence. Lots of genuinely home made dishes as well as specials. Some good beers on tap including real ale choices. Also a nice friendly welcome . Give it a try 👍

Variety of pub grub at good prices, well cooked and served hot. Plenty of seating with a traditional style. Seems quiet during the day but busy in the evenings. Landlord seems a bit of a character and has a forthright manner. Good accessible car park right on A38. Vehicle speed on the road is 30mph but without visible enforcement many seem to rush through the village at 50mph.
