Where is The Lamb Inn?

🏠 Barford Rd, Spaxton, Four Forks, Bridgwater TA5 1AD

"Welcome to The Lamb Inn. We are in the village of Spaxton at the foothills of the Quantocks. We are 5 miles from Bridgwater and about 10 miles from Taunton, in Somerset. We have a large car park and attractive pub garden to the rear – just the place to enjoy a relaxing drink or meal on fine summer days. We have a pool table, a darts board and a skittle alley. Dogs and children are very welcome. We serve food Tues-Sat 6-9pm."

Local country pub Great staff although I think we overwhelmed them (there was 14 of us) Food was fantastic I would definitely go back

Cosiest little pub/restaurant. Lovely friendly staff and great food - the Sunday roast was scrumptious!

It's under new ownership, but the new owners seem to be trying to keep things much as they were. The menu is similar but smaller, and the famous pies are still on the menu. We four all had something different, and all were good. More people seem to be going in for a drink than under the previous owners, so there's a bit more of a buzz. Don't be put off by the blackboard outside inviting you in for drinks and snacks. They do full meals.

Wonderful, old fashioned pub. Great food at affordable prices. Beer, spirit's and Ale's. Friendly staff!

·

A fantastic pub, amazing food ... try the Venison and Stilton Pie ... and great Landlord and Landlady, not forgetting Teddy the Dog 🍻

·

Lovely, genuine country pub. Really friendly staff, and the food is truly excellent. Good local produce, cooked by people who know what they are doing. Very much recommended.

Extinct, at risk, vulnerable? After a lot of searching I find a country pub - that is not part of a chain managed by very nice, well-intentioned people but instead a real country pub. Full of life, homemade food, very tidy and hygienic and perfectly conforming to all the Covid regulations without making it feel uncomfortable... spot on. The menu is varied and it is hard to choose. I was jealous of the crackling on the pork belly until my Venison and Stilton pie arrived. Absolutely delicious but you’ll have a hard time choosing - the other guests were happy with their choices - Such a great selection- you know you want to come back if not to have room for the Sticky Toffee Pudding - Excellent cask ales and bitter and a nice selection of wine... beautiful backyard but mostly you feel that you have found something that you thought might have been lost... like a warm fire? Village pub - people are welcomed by name ??!!? A really nice pause ... a feeling of the ideal regained? The truth - I regret writing this as this hidden gem doesn’t need my review and I fear I may never be able to get in if the word gets out... so local it’s under the radar - faith restored...

The food was amazing and the staff were extremely friendly. I could not fault it in any way I am just sorry that I had no cash on me to leave a tip. This is the problem with this awful virus situation never use cash these days. Highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good foid

Not a bad pub, but not amazing either. Small selection of local beers. Our food was alright but overpriced. Steak came overcooked and the veg was a little soggy. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, but could have had a better experience with the food and drink.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch today. 4 adults and 1 child. Piping hot food. Delicious grub. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff. Great selection of drinks. Lots of amazing desserts. Can't wait to go back
