lovely meal really hot and lovely service .

Great place to have a pint in the sun, but there was something in my glass when served.

Online there is a nice looking menu but on the day there was just a very basic one on offer. Burger nuggets hot dog. All small and seemed like kids meals.

Great place to stop with the family or for the odd football match, I was there on a Saturday early evening when Liverpool beat Chelsea recentlyThe Landlady is a Liverpool fan so it made it perfectly fine to stay.Had Liverpool lost though I guess she would have shut early or changed more for drinks lol.

Nice warm welcome. It was an ok meal. What spoiled it for us was when one of the female staff came out the toilet and left without washing her hands. She was the one who came and uncovered all the veg and put the serving spoons in the trays before we helped ourselves.That is unacceptable in somewhere people eat!!

We used this venue for a wake and It was perfect. The catering was lovely, barely anything left. They helped me to set up a play list of all my dad's favourite songs. Jess was just fantastic. Highly reccomend this place. Even kept the funeral flowers overnight for us in the cellar, and booked us taxis at the end of the night.

Vast amounts of outside seating great on a sunny day. Loads of parking also. Didn't make it inside the pub on my visit. Staff were busy but served our table quickly. They were all very friendly

Lovely place to go ,we visited whilst on holiday. I have heard previously that this pub was always busy and Lovely atmosphere before covid but maybe if they participated in the eat out scheme then they might of had more visitors.I have to say that the garden was awful and university, also could do with a tidy and good clean inside. On the whole though staff were friendly, polite and welcoming.

Recently visited here on a Sunday, ordered our food all at the same time (5 meals) could hear other customers complaining how their food orders were not right. 2 of our 5 meals came out, the food was barely warm although admittedly it tasted lovely. Due to the temperature we ate our food while the other 3 were still waiting. When we complained we were told due to covid it was hard to get everything right!!!! The 3 meals arrived and all were warm not hot. My friend went to complain and the manager said "well the plates hot" not once did we receive an apology, we did however get a refund on the 3 meals. Staff were constantly walking in and out empty handed, such a shame as stated the meals tasted lovely just a shame they were luke warm.

Nice pub, good food. Busy but, nothing overwhelming.Playground outside for children. Small walk from holiday park.
