Lovely lunch at Purple Spoon. They were rushed off their feet today, so we had a bit of a wait, but all the staff are so lovely - polite & friendly at all times. We had a jacket potato, a plate of nachos & and pancakes with bacon & maple syrup. It was all lovely-the bacon could have been cooked a bit more to crisp the fat, but it was still delicious. The coffees were excellent & the aragostine were totally delicious.

I had the posh fishfinger sandwich, extremely tasty although over priced ,waitresses pleasant but the chap that was serving at the till seriously needs to up his game on customer service skills & maybe the odd pleasant smile .

Great find! We enjoyed a delicious brunch overlooking the river. Staff were friendly and helpful and we were especially happy to enjoy The Purple Spoon's relaxing atmosphere after a cancelled hospital appointment. Just what we needed, look forward to visiting again!

Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic staff, good view with the canal, lovely to sit outdoors on a good day, here. The food was delicious. I met my mother for lunch and I ate a 3 egg omelette with cheese and ham, made to perfection, my mum had a jacket potato with Tuna and Mayo, both were lovely. My mum commented on how lovely the cappuccino was that we ordered as her drink, while I had a very nice mocha.Highly recommend.

Really quality breakfast, dog friendly, doggy menu is a stroke of genius.

One of the few truly lovely cafes in Bridgwater. Excellent for food any time of the day, have gone for breakfast and lunch as well as just coffee and all were a really positive experience. Cosy environment plus a nice little sun-soaking terrace outside. Can get very busy though, so not the most quiet location.

Amazing place, great service and food and drinks delicious. Fab atmosphere and will be lovely to visit in spring summer and feed the ducks with little one.

We ordered the delicious Mexican share boxes from Purplespoon for our little work Christmas party and were over the moon with the service and food.Organising delivery was quick, easy and totally effortless. The food was delivered hot, fresh and on time. Safe to say there wasn't a single bite left come the end. Everything went down a treat.Thank you very much to Kate at the team! We cannot recommend you enough.

Set by the canal and on the outskirts of the town.Only ordered up a couple of drinks but the food coming out looked very nice, the place is nice and clean inside with plenty of room plus there's seating outside (when the weather is nice).All the staff was very pleasant and helpful and in this weird times the way you ordered and sat down with plenty of space was well done.Can't wait to come back and try the food especially those CAKES.
