Quirky little gem in an old station building in the middle of the Avalon marshes. Miles from anywhere but perfect for the Ham Wall and Shapwick Heath bird/nature reserves.Hosts occasional vintage steam and tractor rallies in their large garden.Good ales on handpump.

What a gem of a pub. A very beautiful setting, smack bang in the levels, which makes their very large garden a pleasureto sit in. Lovely old building, very friendly staff and people. A must if you visit this area

The Railway Inn is a friendly 'local' pub with a roaring log fire in the winter. Also a great place to visit before or after (or both!) seeing the starling murmurations at Ham Wall which is only 200 yards away. Wilkins cider is recommended at £2.30 a pint.
