Quiet first thing Sunday. Really lovely inside. Lots of tables to sit at. Fabulous loos! Unfortunately there was limited breakfast choice but still a lovely venue.

We went for an evening meal. We didn’t know if you needed to be seated. Tried to ask a member of staff and they just ignored us. We sat down and got a menu and it was absolutely filthy. Food, grease! The table was sticky and it was just really disgusting. We decided not to stay and got up and left. Walking back to the car I noticed that my husband has sat in ketchup!

Disappointing. We have eaten here many times, for breakfast and main meals, but our visit earlier this week was not up to standard. We arrived around 8.30am for breakfast. The air-con seemed to be on full power as it was icy cold inside. We settled at table 36. Ordered our food and our cutlery was bought to our table. Both forks were dirty, in fact, they had the appearance of having been grabbed from another customers plate before coming to us. To be fair, they were swapped immediately with sincere apologies. Our food soon came out. We had ordered 2 large breakfasts. There was no bacon on either plate, the black pudding was thinly cut, dried out 'biscuits', and if there was a soup spoon of baked beans, I'd be exaggerating. On making our second complaint within 5 minutes, our 'bacon' was delivered on a small plate, which I can only describe as being 4 bits of dried up bits of ???.Due to the air-con, the plate of 'food' soon became cold.Compared to our brilliant experience last month at The Green Parrot, Perranporth,(3 x breakfast visits and 4 x mains) this Wetherspoons visit was a complete let down.

The worst pub I have ever been in. Virtually every table was piled high with dirty plates. Our "menu" wouldn't open as it was stuck together with nast. Went to order some food. "Oh. That's off" I was repeatedly told.We left.Gruesome.

We visited here after a spontaneous walk along the beach.I had the BBQ pizza with a small chips and my partner had the Ultimate Burger.Almost half way through the pizza I came across a black piece of plastic about the size of 2cm. I had thought it was a bit on onion on the pizza but sadly not.We notified one of the staff walking around who then went to inform management. The duty manager (didn't catch her name I'm afraid) was very apologetic and explained that she had been round the kitchen and it didn't match anything they had there so may have been from an external supplier. She explained their process and what she would do and follow up. She asked us to come to the bar once we were finished and she would arrange for a refund. We decided not to, as it didn't put me off my pizza and my partner finished his meal too. So we didn't want to take advantage.Just wanted to thank the staff there for dealing with it so well and taking our finding seriously. The pizza, without the plastic and the burger were yummy and good value for money. If you have a charity that you are linked with, please feel free to donate the cost of the refund to that charity please.

Went there around 2.00 for a lunch. Lots of the options on the menu weren't available so chose a sirloin steak. Very bad decision. It was as tough as old boots ! It and the accompanying chips looked as if they had been hastily thrown on the plate and the chips were not hot. There was no mustard on the premises and I had to hunt around for salt. I guess it had been a busy lunchtime as 90% of the tables seemed sticky and some had glasses and plates still on them. My last visit for sure.

Went in with my young family. There was a table who were extremely loud, saying inappropriate things. Amy, a very astute, hardworking team member asked me if I wanted her to step in and ask the table to quieten down. It was extremely thoughtful and refreshing to witness such service. Thank you Amy, your a star.

We went on for a hot drink about 5pm on a cold, wet and windy Wednesday. We were served by a young man (called Kieran) who was very polite, friendly and helpful. Thank you! There were places to sit with a sea view.

Food was cold and ques were long. It came quite fast but looks like the only place to eat in burnham as we couldn't really find anywhere else on a cold April afternoon and it was packed. After this review me and my wife both became ill so I've marked it down as I think it was the cold burgers that have made us sick.

Absoloutey diabolical Wetherspoon's.We visited Burnham for a week. One night it took 2 hours for food, one night it took 90 mins and one morning it took 80mins for breakfast!! I had to send the breakfast back as it was missing items and cold. I was handed back a warm plate with a cold breakfast, that then had different items missing!!And before anyone blames the app.. there's people queuing out the door for a drink when you do go to the bar so no choice but to use.it.There's plates and glasses EVERYWHERE (see photos). about 3 staff running the whole pub.
