We parked here for a walk around the woods and asked the staff about parking. As long as you tell them you are going for a walk and are willing to buy some drinks ,before or after (we did both), they are more than happy for you to use the car park. Lovely pub, helpful, friendly staff and beer garden with some great views and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

A great place to stay on business or for a break. The bedrooms are finished to a high standard, staff really friendly and food very nice. When I booked my room I also booked a table for dinner, which was fortunate as the restaurant was busy, even on a Wednesday!I'm told there is a nice walk from the pub around the local countryside, which although I didn't do this time, I will do on my next visit.

The Swan was amazing. Tucked away in a lovely quiet village it had the feel of a traditional pub with fires and welcoming dogs and the rooms were top end and reminded me of the Ned in London. Fantastic place, so welcoming, very generous with complimentary drinks and brilliant food and breakfast. I’d thoroughly recommend it.

Spent a wonderful three night stay here. Lovely cosy pub in a quaint country hamlet. Really friendly staff a real asset to the pub. Lovely cosy extremely well appointed rooms, great food with a really good selection of drinks. Lovely countryside walks and indeed a haven for walkers and dog lovers/dog walkers.A suggestion would be to have a dog free dining area set aside for dog free visitors. Many thanks to you Simon and ALL your lovely staff.Graham and Linda.

The best steak I have ever had! We were staying close by so went in for dinner, it was so good we then returned for breakfast. 1st class staff and atmosphere. We are actually returning in May just for the food and trying the accommodation out.

Lovely overnight stay. This was a stopover en route to Cornwall. It’s not far from the M5 and looked great - it really is great. The room was very clean, comfortable and stylish with everything you could need. There were complimentary drinks and toiletries (thankfully affixed to the wall). Consideration has been given to sustainability and environmental impact. The evening meal and breakfast were freshly cooked and very tasty; also at a good price. The pub was busy with diners in the evening and it was good to see walkers also coming in for breakfast. There is very good variety on the menu - both day time and breakfast. Being freshly cooked means there might be a wait at busy times but I’d rather wait than have an off the shelf meal. Staff were very approachable and efficient. Express check in and check out made for a very smooth experience. Parking is convenient. There is a very well appointed accessible room.

We stayed a couple of days and really enjoyed ourselves. It was a first stay away with our new puppy and the room and pub were ideal for him and us. Everyone working at the pub was very friendly and helpful. Young staff but they were busy and well organised. Food excellent and the location is great - quiet with fantastic views.

This is such a great find! Wonderful rooms in a beautiful location, where my dog and I could walk straight from the door. The setup was perfect for a dog and all the staff were very welcoming. Food was delicious and the atmosphere in the bar in the evening was lovely - I really couldn't have asked for anything more. Highly recommend.

Excellent staff. Tasty food. Nice dog friendly pub in a quiet area. Great beer. Recently I stayed for the weekend with my partner. Comfortable bed. Recently refurbished rooms. Free milk, water, tea in rooms. Complementary beer and prosecco as well. Lots of little extras in the room such as lavender pillow spray, clock radio, sewing kit and cotton buds which I wasn't expecting. The staff lent my wife an iPhone charger as well as she forgot hers. We had a 3 course meal which was very nice. Also get breakfast included with accommodation. I had the full English. Would highly recommend visiting this establishment.

Really nice food and location. Shame they have started charging for the car park but free if you dine in. Prices are quite steep though. More than £5 a pint of Thatcher's gold - a local cider which we thought was a little steep. Otherwise, excellent!
