People were lovely throughout the hotel, couldn't be nicer and went above and beyond, we ate in hotel restaurant without booking but they sat us down, food was fresh and really tasty, on breakfast the woman was amazing, little superstar was super friendly and catered for everyone, would definitely stay here again when in Somerset 👌👍💪💯

I originally booked this venue for a Wake after a funeral at St. Mary's Church. Contact with the venue was confusing having to deal with 2 different members of staff, who basically were giving me two different stories as to how we could organise the event. Eventually I thought we had it all sorted but at the last moment I received a phone call telling me I could not do it the way we had agreed but don't worry it will be alright on the day!?Unknown to me last minute messages were left on my landline having specifically told them to ring my mobile as I would be travelling from Cheshire.When we arrived for the Wake we had to re-jig the seating because some people had not made it!Then when we saw the menu it was £wise not the same because they had referred me to their Website - which was out of date!! And No we couldn't do it the way we originally agreed and had to pay more. Unfortunately the food was only average but the service was good.They made what was already a difficult situation worse!

Wow. The Sunday roast here is top tier.Everything was totally delicious and so fresh.The cauliflower cheese was the best I've ever had.Service was excellent and the restaurant has such a lovely cosy feel.Book a roast here now. You won't regret it.

We were travelling to see family, stayed for one night in room 12 at the rear of the Hotel . Very clean room with excellent en-suite facilities.Central location in Bridgewater , parking where you can find it !Warm welcome from a knowledgeable night Porter William who escorted us to our room .Great breakfast served by Kim , very helpful young lady .Great stay .Many thanksTrefor and Samantha

Wow. What a wonderful find!Unfortunately we were travelling for a funeral, booked online and thought nothing else if it.Arrived to a warm welcome, big comfortable room with fresh fluffy towels, toiletries and crisp white bed sheets.The food! OMG the food. Breakfast was excellent. Hot, filling and great range.The evening meals in the restaurant are truly delicious.The staff are the friendliest people we have ever met, nothing was a problem, everyone was polite and engaged in conversation.Big shout out to Kim, Danny and the owner Mike, you've really made a terrible time much better just by being yourselves.5* service. Top quality. See you again soon.
