Quintessential very English club. Just had a drink. Very quiet.

·

Unbelievably rude and discriminating landlord. Tried to book for Sunday lunch with my sister and her family. After asking if I was one of their regulars (not yet but I could be, I am local) I was told we were not welcome as we had children with us, apparently they are not ‘big into all that, children and dogs’. Perhaps he shouldn’t be running a pub!

Have been to the Tynte Arms on numerous occasions with clients and have found Peter a great host and a gentleman. And the food has always been excellent. .

·

Warm and very friendly welcome. We stumbled across this Pub on our walk, stopped for a quick drink and enjoyed the traditional atmosphere, so much so that we decided to return later that evening for dinner and we was NOT disappointed!! fantastic homely locally sourced food, Great taste and fantastic value for money. If we get the opportunity to pass the area again we would definitely be stopping!!

Would rate 0 if I could. Landlord is horrible I have no idea how he makes any business. We were turned away at the door since we weren’t local

·

went here when we stayed at Secret Valley very welcoming landlord and landlady , excellent service very clean and good covid precautions the food was excellent well presented and quick to the table from a very good menu. We would definitely go there again

A lovely traditional country pub. We were looked after extremely well and the food was wonderful and clearly home cooked. This is an old school independent country pub of the type you rarely find these days. If you want a forgettable, vanilla chain pub, head for a Brewers Fayre. However, if you want something a little more unique that might just be one of the loveliest ways to spend a few hours, give this place a try. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back soon.

really good food and beer, and yes the landlord is a tad cantankerous as stated in some reviews, but it is his pub and it's is part of its oldy world charm. a proper English pub. he accommodated a birthday meal for my family recently and there was quiet a lot of us but the food was excellent, landlord and his wife wonderful and accommodating and a fabulous time was had by all. we always go there for family meals and have never been disappointed

I stay here whenever I am anywhere near the area (usually on business). The rooms are lovely, the food is fantastic and there's always a selection of great ales. The Tynte is owned and run my a lovely couple who are always welcoming.Definitely one to not miss.Highly recommended!

I called ahead and we were assured the kitchen would stay open for us to have a Sunday roast if we were a little after 2pm and we were not disappointed. We were greeted with a warm welcome and served with the same warmth throughout. The food was hearty and delicious. Truly wonderful! Perfectly cooked meat and an abundance of veg. There was a massive variety of deserts, it was nearly impossible to choose, and they were also exquisite! But when the bill came we couldn't believe the value. Unbelievable! Will pop in again if I'm the area again. Definitely recommend.
