Nice old fashioned village pub, drinks are reasonably priced.Downside is there is no carpark and the beer garden could do with a makeover, saying that I would certainly go again when passed

Staying at the Days inn on the M5…. Walked to this pub (around 30-40 mins) absolutely fantastic! Steve made us feel welcome the minute we stepped through the door… Even all the locals are up for a chat and a bit of banter…. Food is great… plaice great! Shame we live up in the Midlands…. Would love to see this place on a weekend!Thank you for the warm welcome!

Went for the Thursday steak night. Good "banter" with the host, great pint of Gems Beer. Quality steaks at a great price. Good service.

Lovely staff and great food and good prices. Didn't catch her name but the lady with pink curly hair really made us and our kids feel welcome. Really homely place, will definitely be going back!

Was going to have a steak here, but they seemed rushed off their feet serving visitors, but had to go because we walked from Days Inn, and it was getting dark, what with no footpaths. However it's a charming Somerset pub, and we'll be back to see them and their lovely dog.

What a brilliant little find.An old fashioned English pub, serving great beer and quality good old ashioned English food, at prices that wont break the bank.Quality ingredients, home cooked food.Serving food from when they open.Tonight Thursday is steak night.I have health issues with certain foods and found nothing was too much trouble for the chef in the kitchen to customize my meal from what was on the menu.My husband, who after a couple of beers chose the mixed grill and throughly enjoyed, especially as most place we go out to eat don't have French mustard, infact this pub have a great selection of condiments.I chose the gammon, pineapple and salad, usually comes with peas and chips. Both were cooked to perfection, moist, succulent and not over cooked. Hot plates.Fantastic, highly recommend and we will be back.

Amazing atmosphere here! We've had very warm welcome and the owners been super nice literally from the moment we've stepped in. Great selection of food and drinks, delicious starter and super competitive prices.Whitebait with lemon mayo very tasty 😋.Steak was awesome 👌Nice garden at the back, so we could sit outside. Kids menu available. Space to park at the front.Overall experience today was great and we will come back here again 5⭐
