Great pub right next to the gorge. There is lots of seating inside. The menu has vegan, vegetarian, and meat options. They also have the local ciders. The staff are friendly and helpful. We went to the pub straight after completing the hike at cheddar gorge. Great place for food at cheddar.

Very good food, beams and decor gives a great old pub feel.Wheelchair access is limited & no accessible amenities. I must table service wasn't timely we weren't surprised as they were needing staff. The staff in attendance was polite.Would have been a 5 star, just the disabled amenities not being available let the place down for us a bit.

A fantastic dog friendly traditional pub. Really lovely owners and staff who were super welcoming. Great service and nothing was too much trouble. The food was home cooked and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return

Great find!Really friendly and efficient customer service. They have a great gluten free menu and cater for coeliacs. We only stopped in for a drink, but when we saw the food coming to the next table we were sold! Really good quality food at reasonable prices.Great beer garden with views of the Gorge.Would highly recommend.

If you are looking for a warm welcome and a top quality meal it is waiting for you at the White Hart Inn. This gem is almost hidden behind La Rocca Italian restaurant and is well worth the effort spent seeking it out.The large breakfast is delicious and filling and served by staff that are obviously happy in their work and aim to put every customer as a friend. The sausages are tasty and the bacon full of flavour, and sensibly priced. All possible precautions are taken to avoid the transmission of Covid-19 by the management.(18/4/22)

A local pub, very friendly and welcoming, food at a great price ( cheaper than prices at home) which in a tourist attraction was quite something! ( visited twice) Food was OK, presentation could be addressed! Minor things from the young waiters, like side plates and condiments, plus cutterlery that was left out, ( when having Sunday lunch) but all in all a lovely pub with a great garden

Really helpful staff when I phoned to check if they did both vegan carvery and gluten free carvery. When we arrived they were clearly aware of our requirements and were really pleased to see us. Such a lovely welcome. They bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we needed. The meal was lovely. 2 meats - pork and beef with all the trimmings and a vegan plait, again with all the trimmings. We were all full and didn’t have room for their puddings, which included gluten free options and a vegan option.

Found unexpectedly on our walk but was perfect for lunch. Dog friendly and gluten free was available. Gluten free options that were prepared separately to avoid contamination. Had a few handy rooms upstairs and plenty of seating downstairs and outside. The staff were fantastic, friendly and super helpfull. Meals were very yummy and very filling :)

Nice pub set in a scenic area. In food with generous portions. Prices reflect a tourist area but not really “trap” prices.Beer garden is a must with kids slide and a great view. Ale selection not great but cider is the specialty in Somerset. So when in Rome…..
