very nice pub, staff were very pleasant i orderd a glass of shirazz and a thatchers cider and i was taken back by the extoriate price of £13.50 ive been to several other pubs in the area and the london prices do not exist at any of those i will be avoiding the white horse inn ....... in future

Great food. Very well cooked and presented. Friendly staff and very welcoming with the fire on. Would book a Sunday roast to avoid being disappointed.

Brilliant food, great little country gastropub

Food was good and staff helpful who took items off the bill without request when part of pre-emailed order didn't arrive and was told it wasn't ordered. Very helpful, food was good and climbing frame for the kids

This pub was recommended to us by several locals and I can see why. Our scampi starter was succulent with lovely batter - way above normal pub scampi. My Cajun chicken was tender, juicy and absolutely delicious, and I enjoyed the inclusion of guacamole and Caesar salad on the plate alongside the generous chips and coleslaw. Top marks!

Relaxed atmosphere. Tables well spaced.Out garden has seating, in lovely setting.There is also for £5.00 the option to play for an hour mini foot golf - instead of using a golf club, you use a football to get a hole in one!My lunch was lovely, and my friends thoroughly enjoyed theirs too.

Really good traditional pub food, definitely a cut above. Decent value, too. Staff helpful, assisted my wife suffering from unusually hot weather. Plenty of outdoor tables, we stayed inside where it was cooler. Nice location, stream and tree-lined path with benches just across the road.
