Tuckers in Sedgemoor

Me and my partner visited cheddar a few weeks ago , to see the gorge , popped in for fish and chips , and honesty, its was the best I've had in years , especially on my travels , chips were perfect , especially as I'm a self confessed chip connoisseur, plus the batter was lovely , not greasy , all round brilliant fish and chips .

Good fish and chips place

Really good fish. You have space inside the restaurant or outside to eat.

We were on holiday in cheddar and saw tuckers on the way back to our lodge. So pleased we saw it as it was one of the best fish and chips we have ever had

I had the plaice and chips and the skin was still on the fish and all gooey I still feel sick from eating it and it’s 7 hours later. Also the chips were not right and tasted horrid as well. Had way better else where for cheaper. Not impressed

Ordered two portions of chips, they were not busy at all and plenty of staff from what I could see. The chips were quite possibly the worst I have ever had they were not cooked and still hard in places even the kids didn't want them!

Absolutely superb. Been here on 2 separate occasions. Both times the staff have been polite and friendly. The food has been the same excellent quality too. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area to stop here for food

Fantastic place - really friendly staff, clean eating area, prompt serving time, child friendly, reasonably priced, clean toilets. We have discovered this place by chance, we definitely will be eating there again, next time we are in Cheddar.

Really tasty and crispy chips. They didn't have veggie curry but recommended alternative veggie sauce and I am glad they did. Sauce highly liked via my kids and also recommended.
