This is just your average small town diner. I could see why in a place with little choice, this would come up on top, but I would encourage you to spend your time and money elsewhere. The roast menu isn’t too bad, although you only get 2 slices of meat and a total of 2 potatoes and 2 (burnt and hard) parsnips. The cauliflower cheese was the star of the show though, very tasty. So was the gravy. I think what made the experience negative for me was that the staff was too busy chatting away than actually serving the tables and providing good service. No water was offered at any point during the meal, plates were still there when we left, the bill took forever to get to the table and it took us over 20 minutes to order. I would conclude saying that we were charged a “pitta with hummus and olives” without getting any of the hummus nor the olives cuz they ran out. Completely get it, but charging warm, 30p pitta as a whole course is laughable.

We went to Wild Rocket for brunch after being let down for a booking at another restaurant in town. What a happy accident as I will definitely be back.We both ordered the pancakes. They were light, fluffy and so delicious with fresh fruit and maple syrup 👌 not to mention, massive!Service was very very good and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere.Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed my dinner to this quirky restaurant with amazing staff: they have been very patient and also very careful to our needs. Our share of vegan food was alright, and in all fairness I enjoyed the starter more than the main! Limited selection with fresh and genuine ingredients: definitely a "quality over quantity" choice, cooked just right to deliver a great meal where taste is king.I will certainly come back to try other options from their menu!

Lovely atmosphere, clean & well laid out restaurant, staff were friendly & the service was great, the food was delicious. We had an evening meal & all tastes were catered for. I would happily return & recommend to family & friends
