Outstanding and authentic Thai cuisine.What jumped out about this restaurant to me was the amazing service. From start to finish the waiter and I believe manager / owner provided service over and above most restaurants. Very attentive with regards to dietary requirements.I would 100% recommend Zen Thai as a must visit to anyone visiting Cheddar Gorge.

Outstanding! Ordered takeaway and while I waited they served crackers and an amazing chili & tamarind dip.The mixed starters for 2 were all tasty and not too overwhelming.And while the pad Thai wasn't outstanding, I'll be going back for the Duck Tamarind if I'm in town again!

Authentic Thai food. My wife's Thai and she rates it highly. Very attentive, friendly service. The decor is beautiful and it's situated in a great location with general parking across the road, free after 5pm (at time of writing in June '22).Highly recommended.

We hadn't prebooked for a Saturday night, Spencer took our details and put us on the waiting list. Wow are we glad we had the call for a 6.15 booking. All staff were welcoming, lovely atmosphere, busy but service was great. Food was perfect, tasty and cooked well. Desert was heavenly, Fried Banana with vanilla icecream. Good value for money, recommend and will return.

It was our first meal out since July but we couldn't have chosen a better place to start. A lovely small but well decorated restaurant with wonderful staff and really excellent food. Highly recommended, we will be back!!30-Apr-2022And coming back, this time with our Thai daughter-in-law we were just as impressed as the first time and the takeaways we've had from here. She confirmed that the cooking is excellent and nicely authentic.

The food here was amazing!! Lovely restaurant! I wish we didn't live 80 miles away as I would order from here all the time! The best thai food I've had. And they were really helpful by accommodating 11 of us. Thank you!

Fantastic foodI am from Thailand to visit my family here. I craved for Thai food badly and this restaurant is the best!!!!!I really enjoyed the food at Zen Thai restaurant. The owners were nice and staffs were helpful.Papaya salad is a must for Thai!!!Rangoon wantans were delicious ❤️I tried fish with ginger sauce. It was lovely.Laab was nice.Bbq and crispy belly pork were gorgeous.I loved their food so much☺️I love the dining tables. Nice decoration.Hope I will be there again soon.

Absolutely amazing food and so tasty. The staff were superb as well and very friendly. The restaurant setting is great and they've taken pride in the appearance. 10/10 🙌

Great Thai food. Really good service as well. The masaman curry for me was the winner - excellent flavour and the rice it was served with was great!

I think it’s the best Thai food I’ve ever had in the UK. It’s really a great experience especially after you finish hiking. Great environment and nice service! I would highly recommend it when you come and visit this beautiful town.
