Almondsbury Garden Centre in South Gloucestershire

No cafe there anymore sadly. 'Card payment only' stated at the tills, but not at the entrance so a bit embarrassing when you only have cash on you and a trolley full of things. Good range of garden stuff though.

I obtained the garden tool I wanted from here but be warned they do not accept cash here! Ironically enough I can use my hard-earnt cash to buy coffee in the coffee van outside. Not a good customer experience it seems here and most other places the customer is firmly in the wrong.

Only 4 stars as the Aquarium part has been totally gutted and the cafe is going to go there. However the Santa's grotto they do every year is really good with a huge selection of plants and planters etc.

Nice place, plenty of outdoor plants. Indoors need now more indoor plants...

Good Well stocked garden centreprices are quite steep but they have alot in the store so can't expect online prices.staff very knowledgeable which is rare in most stores these days.

Obviously quite low on stock for plant gifts, being so close to Christmas, but we were able to get a couple of other bits and pieces. We went at 4.15pm so it was lovely and quiet!

An Aladdin's Cave full of great gift ideas for Xmas. Beautifully decorated and stocked with everything for the garden, kitchen, home, personal care, beauty, together with gorgeous gifts of food and wine. There really is something for everyone! A truly lovely shopping experience.

Great range of stock but food still from a van (late Nov. 2021) hence dropped a star. It would have helped to know this from the web site as we took my 81 year old mother there for lunch and Christmas shopping. Staff were very helpful, especially when my mum wandered away from us!

Lovely garden centre. Great store with a wide variety of items. The store, outside area and especially the plants well cared for and well presented. The Xmas shop was open and was an added bonus. Worth a visit for essentials or just a walk and light shopping. Great spot, will visit again. Better than any motorway services!

Almondsbury Garden Centre - Bristol's largest Independent Garden Centre! They have such a wide range of pots, plants, garden accessories, lanterns, and much more. The Kitchen is lovely and perfect for a spot of lunch or coffee and cake and the outdoor seating is perfect in the sunshine. They have a wide selection of food available on the menu and the food is fresh and tasty. Their 2 lunches for £16 is a great offer and the portion sizes are good! A lovely garden centre with friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. The layout is easy to find your way around and find exactly what you’re looking for. Almondsbury Garden Centre staff offer planting advice, inspiration and guides on how you can care for your garden across all seasons which is really helpful if you’re new to gardening or just want some advice on how to get the most out of your garden. You can also now make your compost trip easy because the Almondsbury Garden Centre has the South West's First Compost Drive-Thru. I would 100% recommend going to Almondsbury Garden Centre as one of the best in the area!
