Stayed at the nearby Village Hotel and fancied something quick and easy for lunch, this was genuinely one of the best fish & chips I've ever had. Batter was lovely didnt go soggy after sitting in box for 5 mins and chips were excellent 👌 when I am next in Bristol will have to go back

Great Service and great food. One of the best fish and chips I've tasted. Unsurprisingly they can be busy at peak times, but the online ordering is simple to use and saves a lot of time.

The food was cold especially the chips and peas which was disappointing as my order cost over £20 and no one ate it. I only live a short drive away so it wasn’t left wrapped up for long but the peas were as cold as if they had just come out of the can and there’s nothing worse than cold food

Really good fish & chips. Cod is skinless and perfectly fried, chips as good as they get from a chippy and nice little touches like being offered lemon as well as salt & pepper. You can now order online and pick up. My go-to chippy.

All I can say is that this place was spotlessly clean in both the prep and work areas when I done my delivery. Although I'm unable to comment on the food, I have given 5 stars for cleanliness and look forward to tasting their food in the future.

Fairly recently reopened. Has been totally redone inside and is really bright and clean with really friendly staff. Now the important bit... The food is simply brilliant, easily some of best fish and chips that I or the family have ever had. Portions are very generous, make sure you are really hungry before ordering the large cod, the regular is other places large and the large is simply crazy. I still order the large but often have to leave a bit to munch on later or the next day and it's still good. Ability to order and pay online for collection is super convenient. Highly recommended. 👌

Very good fish and chips. Very generous portions. I would recommend using the on line ordering as cuts waiting times. Service was prompt, very polite and friendly. I have used Baines a few times with the new owners, have been impressed by the service and value. It's the only fish and ship shop I will use in my area.
