Bay Leaf Indian Restaurant in South Gloucestershire

Food was not too bad but the attitude of the staff is not welcoming and pleasant. I think as they have lots of take away orders, they are not happy to serve the customers in dine in.

Literally the worst takeaway in Bristol. Bright pink chicken and 4 hairs in my food. Please avoid if you can guys.

This place does great food that is full of flavour and isn't overly pricy. They deliver themselves, so you don't have to rely on third party delivery companies like Deliveroo or UberEats, and the deliveries are prompt. Currently my go to place for Indian food delivered to my door.

We are so lucky such a great restaurant is on our doorstep. They don't skimp on the portion size and the food tastes wonderful. We will go again soon and do a luck dip. It's all good.

Food is always nice, but the customer service is questionable. Especially our last experience the customer service was terrible we had the wrong order and the man on the phone was not interested and attempted to blame it on us. He has no listening skills and has such a big ego he is unable to process what you are explaining.

So last night I ordered from them. Horrible food. Smelled terrible. Not fresh at all. Just after smelling it felt disgusting. And it has given me a food poisoning just after few bites. I had to throw away everything and wasted £32. Shame on you for providing such awful service.

The 5 stars is for the food only which is undoubtedly superb, just the staff need to be more friendly and cheerful it's a shame because it let's the place down.

Picked up the order nice and hot. Nan was good, soft. But the veg korma just ruined everything. It was sweeter than a sweet dish. I bet the cook never had korma in his life. Has to throw away the entire plate.

A fantastic little restaurant. Very welcoming with friendly, helpful staff. The menu selection caters for all tastes. The meal we received was probably the best Asian cuisine we have ever had. Cooked to perfection and full of flavour. A restaurant we would definitely visit again.

When I first arrived the staff were very friendly and catered for our needs extremely professionally. As a vegetarian I asked if it would be possible to have one of the chef's specials dishes originally with chicken/lamb replaced with tikka paneer and the waiter had it sorted immediately. The vegetable samosas and the overall meal was of a high quality and very flavoursome. Will definitely be returning in the future!
