Nice pub quite close to Dursley Gloucestershire has a new ownership just went for a drink with some family members sat at the back garden only to get a bunch of people who sound like they had been there for sometime as they were loud . Other then that it was a OK place .

Photo says it all I guess. Not really worth 1 star as the staff were friendly but the food was below average, bits of it were cold, the Yorkshire pudding was burnt and we actually left feeling hungry!

Perfectly decent Sunday lunch and a pint. I had pork which was beautifully roasted and my partner had beef, again very lovely and great flavour. Roasties nice and how they should be. Veg a bit bland. Gravy too thin.

I visited this pub after a evening at Nibley Monument. I am not normally one to write a bad review but I could not bring myself to complain in person. We had to wait 40-50 minutes for food after ordering and the pub wasn’t busy. I personally couldn’t even finish my meal, it was the worst pub food I’ve ever had. The presentation on arrival was a complete mess and the chicken was completely fatty, the onion rings were very odd and not overall nothing was enjoyable to eat. I walked away feeling sick after my meal. This was my first visit to this pub, not a good first impression and I won’t be coming back.
