Something has gone seriously wrong with this restaurant either new management or chef or something else. It used to be one of our favourites but not anymore. Their curries don't taste authentic at all and is usually watery with no real flavour. There is no consistency in the taste/texture either. We gave it a try 2-3 times even after a bad experience as we thought they might improve but no luck. We won't be returning anymore.

Avoid unless you want microwave curry that is still cold and tastes like a supermarket curry. If you're looking for a good, proper curry, Panahar is a few doors down! Go there!

Ordered butter naan and dal makhani it tasted like hell. Not at all fresh food

·

The food was not fresh but it was microwavedThe rice was very sticky and there was only 2 pieces of meat which contained a lot off fat on. The shish kebabs were red and not proper shish kebabs. The service was very slow. I would never you thos place again please avoid this place over expensive for what you get.

Came with friends to taste Biriyanis. We could experience the authentic taste. Meals prepared without any delays and the service is amazingly responsive.

I wouldn’t like to give this 1 star even, worst food I ever tasted, I have ordered chilli paneer, paneer makhani and chana masala, paneer makhani was totally non sense, my son is a big fan pr paneer makhani even he hadn’t had a single bite, don’t even want to talk about chana masala and chilli paneer, never ever going to order from here

By far the worst Indian I've ever had in 40yrs,, the korma looked like tikka masala and was so spicy our lad couldn't eat it, the tikka masala looked like a jalfrazi and too hot for my daughter to eat and the jalfrazi looked like a Madras and again too spicy to eat, all dishes had absolutely no flavour just pure spice, when phoned to complain we we're told "you didn't ask for it mild" when a masala and korma are meant to be mild dishes. The sagg aloo WELL!! I've never seen anything like it, the spinich had been blended into what looked like a paste or soup and poured over what were meant to be potatoes, again this was spicy which it's not meant to be and tasted rancid!! No refund offered just a replacement which was just as bad, would advise anyone to steer clear of this place. Shame I can't give zero stars,,Absolutely shocking!!!

Excellent quality, we had:Mixed platter - very goodGoan fish curry - excellentSag chicken - very goodParatha and garlic naan - excellentI've tried quite a few Indian restaurants and takeaways in Bristol , and this is the best yet by far. Each dish has its own sauce, not like many which seem to use the same base sauce and sugar for everything. Restaurant is quite small, good service. Highly recommended.
