Caspian Fish Bar in South Gloucestershire

The fish was definitely not fresh as it had a off smell and they use a poor quality of potatoes for chips.

This wasn't great and I wouldn't go back. The staff were lovely but ultimately its about the food and I'm afraid to say this shop did not hit the spot.

Great portions sizes, great prices and great customer service, love it here and would recommend it to others

Used this pkace for a long time and for convenience have signed up to their website and have always ordered off the website you also get points each time you order which can mean a bit off your next order. So collected my order and woman behind counter said don't order off website as they don't get payment for 2 weeks, not thank you for your order and help my shop keep going. So annoyed will defo never use shop again don't want people to use your website don't have one in first place. Would give no stars but can't.

Best chippy in Bristol, very high quality fish and chips unlike many other ones I’ve been to in Bristol. Customer service was also amazing.

Has recently become my chippy of choice, Chips are always nice and tasty and never overly greasy. I intend on visiting quite a bit I think. (Update: place is still really good, friendly and welcoming staff! Especially the lady who works there, lovely person, sorry don't know your name!)

Started to use Caspian recently, been three times in the last three months. Been pleased with the generous portion sizes for the chips and I've enjoyed the jumbo battered sausages too.Good value for money, friendly staff, and decent quality food. Free Parking outside too.I had used this chippy four or five years ago and stopped due to not enjoying it, so I presume it's under new management now.

This place should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. It was that bad I had to go back as soon as I got home so I could show them the site of it. The battered sausage was swimming in grease/oil and soggy as anything which I expect it to be a little greasy but wow both pieces of paper were soaked in oil. Most of the chips had this brown colour to them which iv never seen from a chip shop before. The owner then said the battered sausage wasn't like that when I gave you it and it was crispy, hell no. And their excuse for the brown chips was because it was apparently a fresh batch then changed it to it's different potatoes. If never in my life has seen chips like it especially being a 'fresh' batchGot full refund back and went elsewhere for chip shop
