We have used this chip shop for many.many years but since it has changed hands its hit and miss if you get a decent take away.We gave them a try last night, the chicken wing had long hairs on it and it was dried out and hard as a brick. We binned it.Such a shame as it used to be lovely

This is our prefered for fish & chip shop, it is just around the corner and we usually order by phone. The food is tasty and the staff are friendly but professional.

Lovely fish and chips from here. Battered jumbo sausage is delicious too. Nice chip shop with great tasting food in staple hill. Highly recommended.

Ive used this chip shop for many years, and staff are always warm and polite. But consistency is lacking, you can have three really good meals there and then as happened this week you get a bad one. The chips we had were horrible, hard, and to be honest really weird colour, we ate a few and had to bin the rest.For me this has been a reoccurring theme which is a real shame.

I ordered a large piece of cod with chips - waited for the fish to be cooked and it was excellent. However the chips were re-heated leftovers from the night before, they were hard and tasteless. At £8.50 (ish) I'm disgusted, will not be going there again!

I've been going to this place for years, now that's a great recommendation! Best omelettes in Bristol, although that's not mentioned in the name. Obviously the usual fish shop goodies plus extra surprises (you have to try the Greek salad ) Give it a try.

We called into this establishment purely by chance and were very pleasantly surprised as it was now under new management and had been completely refurbished. The food we had was well prepared and very tasty and we certainly will be calling again in the very near future. The staff and new owner were very pleasant and welcoming and the portions were more than adequate. The omelettes are certainly the biggest I have ever seen and very very tasty one is enough for two unless you have a giant appetite
