I ate bread. It was nice. In all seriousness, very nice. Except from the brownie which was too rich for my taste. Everything is about a pound too expensive. Only slight nitpicks. Would buy again.

Great day at the Weber Grills - UK barbecue course. Learnt a lot, ate even more! Steak, pork and beer can chicken was lovely with sweet potatoes and brocolli sides. Really enjoyed the mushroom risotto and chocolate molten puddings on the bbq too. Very friendly team, thank you.

Just popped in and had a tea, which was OK. Takeaway tea never that great anywhere. However, the slice of traditional fruitcake was marvellous, so much fruit. Small shop so imagine it can get busy, especially in lockdown, only one person in at a time. Lots of free parking round the corner.

Great quality bakery. Lovely bread. Online kids bakery classes on Instagram are a massive hit too! At the high end of price range, but you seem to get what you pay for.

·

Lovely covid safe visit to get some baked good and bread and some cake, all really nice, will definitely go back soon.

Oh Hobbs House, what a disappointment. Bought two Portuguese custard tarts and two carrot cakes today. The pastry on the tarts was barely on the right side of burnt and the filling lacked the lovely caramelised flavour that the top usually has. Sorry to say they sell better in the Co-op. The carrot cake wasn't moist it was soggy, heavy and dense. So wet it lacked any 'cake' texture. It looked good and the taste was OK but neither purchase was worth the money.

Had my birthday weekend in a house not far away. They made what has to be one of the best chocolate cakes I have ever had the pleasure of eating. A highlight and an awesome cake..thanks Hobbs

Not a review of the actual bakery, but, if your products are anything like your drivers of your vehicles I will certainly be avoiding your business. The driver of vehicle YH67 VEM would appear to either have no wingmirrors on the van, or simply not bother with them. Oh, and tailgating others with no care or consideration. It pains me to write reviews like this, but lives are at risk.

Good range of breads and pastries. Very friendly staff, but quite expensive and often have been out of stock for the bread I like, but managed to find an alternative.

Bought a sour dough loaf today cost me £3 and I can barley cut it let alone eat it!. Went straight in the bin!
