Marios Fish Bar in South Gloucestershire

I'm not local to the area, so I don't know why this place has such a high rating. The locals clearly don't know GOOD fried fish and chipsService was good, but the food let's it down.For £7.20 I expect a larger piece of fish.I know fish is expensive but come on.The biggest letdown with this place is how DRY and tastless the chips are. I don't mind paying if quality is there.Loading up with massive portions of chips is not going to cover up the tasteless and dryness of the chips; it only makes my mouth dry like sand!Change your potatoes or learn how to deep fry properly!

Well... This is actually the first fish and chip place in the area that doesn't have greasy, repeating food ☺ was very tasty and delivered quick from UberEats, chips and fish were great and the pie wasn't solid as a rock like they are in other places 👍 keep it up guys ☺

Unbelievably delicious, and size of the portions are huuuge!Also, by the unknown error uber eats placed two orders instead of one, and staff at the restaurant were vigilant like a hawk! They called us and noticed us and therefore we avoided double charge, and they avoided to cook two orders for a waste.What a legend! (we didn't take his name) thank you!And seriously. Amazingly delicious. Just melts!

Best fish and chip shop in the Kingswood area, can not fault it! Generous portion sizes and great customer service.

By far and away the best takeaway in Bristol unfortunately tonight I ordered a steak and kidney pie, I received a phone call to say they were sold out, so we agreed a clarks pie. On taking a bite I discovered it was chicken and mushroom, disappointing as I am allergic to mushrooms. However I accept mistakes happen and it will not deter me from using them again as I have on many occasions. Proves their human. Thanks Mario's for keeping us sane throughout these troubles times.T

I've been gluten free since 2007 and this is the BEST battered cod and chips I've ever eaten. Mum had normal battered sausage and chips and was also very impressed. Please continue with your g/f menu.... its delicious.
