Mezze at the Green Dragon in South Gloucestershire

Really great service. Food was delicious. Only bad thing I can say is they need new tables as they are very sticky. An explanation was provided that during the pandemic they used a lot of sanitiser to clean the tables and they haven’t gone back to normal. But other than that really pleasant experience.

We were invited here by friends and had a wonderful time. The food was fantastic and the staff were polite and efficient. The place has a lovely atmosphere with plenty of character and helped us enjoy a great evening.

Visited this venue Friday 13th may at 12.30pm for a birthday meal just two of us did not book a table thought it might be okay and took a chance .waited at meet and greet entrance for a member of staff and was ignored by staff busy on screen processing orders when he finally spoke to us asked if there was any tables for two available after a very long pause he informed me the restaurant was very busy and there was only two staff available however he would use the top maze bar showed us to our table and was staggered to find we were the only customers in the entire area .waited a age to order drinks and food.noticed table was really sticky and not very clean at that point we left.looked in downstairs area approx 3 tables occupied by ten customers got the impression from staff customers not welcome too much inconvenience.had a lovely meal at white lion frenchy common instead

This used to be my local 50 years ago, I always loved this place and was not disappointed to see it has kept a lot of its old character. Its staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor is pleasant and bright. Would definitely recommend this place.

What a beautiful place. Our experience was great from start to finish, me and my friend had the ceasar salad and it was perfect in every way. Great staff and atmosphere was great. Already have a table booked to come again!

We booked a table for 7:30 on a Saturday for a table of 12 of us for my mums 60th.We were so impressed with how organised everyone was. Once we all arrived they came over and took our drinks and within 15 minutes all of our food had come out.We even ordered extra food which we did not pre order and this all came out hot and quick.We did bring a birthday cake and they all sang and gave us plates to have it as a pudding.It was a really lovely night, thank you to everyone you made it such a pleasant night and the food was lovely!

Hadn't had mezze before but really enjoyed being able to have 3 individual dishes. My partner had a main meal, which he said was very good. One of my 3 dishes was a little spicy for me but would be fine for most people. Had more than enough to eat. It was quiet there as we had gone early evening. The staff were pleasant and attentive without crowding you.

Visited here recently on the EO2HO scheme - the staff were super friendly and you got a lot of food for the price. I do feel some of the dishes could have been slightly higher quality but overall a really nice meal. Only downside was our table was in the hallway literally next to the kitchen and stairs so we were constantly hearing the waiters and chef shouting to each other and people coming up and down the stairs

Nice food. We ordered from the mezze menu and it was plenty!
