Mezze at the Royal George in South Gloucestershire

Visited the Royal George with my brother and nephew. Was served in a timely manner by a very polite young lady Ordered a 2 course meal for £10.90 consisting of lasagne with salad and garlic bread followed by cheesecake. The lasagne was delicious and filling and I'll be back for more at a later date.

Just had lunch here, good lamb shank and the wife says it is the best lasagna she has had. Forgot to mention that as one meal was on the lunchtime menu is was surprisingly cheap.Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff.Very nice garden as well.The beer is in excellent condition.Also handy for public transport and the local shops.

Visited for Sunday lunch today with our dog. Really happy with the communication received after booking online, personal and accommodating of our needs.The greeting on arrival (a few minutes before they officially opened) was warm and welcoming.The service continued to be great throughout the meal and the food was really good, quick and hot.Obviously genuine dog lovers and we will definitely be back. Thank you

Great little pub, gets busy during the early evening during the week so good for some post-work atmosphere. Food is reasonably priced and not too shabby at all, will be returning.

Doesn't look much from the outside but don't let that put you off! It's like a TARDIS inside, clean and well presented. Excellent food, with friendly helpful service at great value. Couldn't fault it and wouldn't want to. I can thoroughly recommend it.

Really great experience. I really like the way everything was set out and the food was very much on point. We were expecting standard "pub grub" but it was much better in my opinion! All the staff were very friendly and there was the cutest doggo there too. Great job!

Beautiful pub with loads of character, very clean and about the friendliest staff I've ever met!Great selection of beers and spirits in a very relaxed and trendy atmosphere, we only stopped by for a break and ended up ordering food, service was quick but I wasn't blown away with how it tasted.Certainly not bad but I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here although I didn't try every item so can't judge completely.What we had was great value though and presented very well.Will go back again if not for food but for drinks
