Great local pub with honest no frills food that is always cooked well also lovely staff!

Wow ! Just had Christmas dinner served here, was the best ever, not your usual pub grub, lol, every thing from the Stilton soup to the roast beef, that was so tender and cooked to perfection, the cheese cake was delish. the attention to detail was more like a five star restaurant, compliments to the chef, and all your staff was perfect. Thank you

Always a nice welcome. Prices are incredibly reasonable with good quality fresh food served daily. I've never had a less than great meal here. Also a nice garden area adjacent to the canal.

Hadn't been here for a long time until recently. Staff are very nice and welcoming, pub seems a tad run down tho. I know they run some events so I'm hoping to catch one soon and maybe I'll see a different side to the pub. It was very quiet during the day on my last 2 visits.

Nice cheap camping. Pints a little to expensive. Lovely staff and good entertainment.

Have been using The Plough for several years now. The landlord Dave and his staff are very accommodating, friendly and flexible. Good quality pub food menu with a specials board that is changed regularly. Very busy on Sundays. I have used the field for two events that I have held this year, and Dave arranged the BBQ chef and couldn't have been more helpful with assisting me organising my events. Highly recommended for food, drink and private events
