Spice Mahal in South Gloucestershire

Had a takeaway chicken and onion bhaji overcooked sauce not very tasty nan bread was dreadful not cooked could still stretch the dough very disappointed as have had good meals in the past

Only ever had take out but it’s always been amazing, my parents always rave about this place. One day I’ll eat in for the full experience

Nice ambience, great service and lovely food with plenty of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options.

A favourite curry house, for my mate on our fortnightly curry experience. Again this evening we had a very pleasant time at the Spice Mahal. It was well attended, without too many empty tables. The food was excellent as normal.

Wednesday evening at spice mahal ...not bad not bad at all

Have to say I've never had a more tasteless Indian dinner. We ordered takeaway and although the portions were a good size my chicken mahal just tasted of chicken in gravy, no spice or taste at all...and I'm covid free so there's no reason I shouldn't taste anything! Our starter order was wrong as well. Very expensive to have a tasteless dinner.

Very nice food, served quickly and piping hot, great big chunks of chicken. Friendly and polite staff.

One of the best curry houses in the area. We’ve tried others in the area and you will not find anything better. The staff are super friendly and polite. The food is fresh and authentic and the flavours of different dishes can be easily distinguished where all others fail in the local area with authenticity the Spice Mahal is amazing!

The curry was good, but I ordered a dessert called Trufito, it turned out to be as big as an apple (on the picture it looked like a cake size dessert) and I understand that I asked for takeaway, but it was put in a plastic bag with no covering or box, and as a result part of the "cake" got stuck on the inside of the bag.
