Disappointing. Chicken curry very bland, no flavour at all. Tasted of corn starch and nothing else. Pork in sweet and sour tougher than old boots. I've got all my own teeth but couldn't handle it. Maybe my meal choices were poor. On the plus side good portion sizes and well packaged. Place looked clean and hygienic. One star plus an extra star for the free prawn crackers.

This has been our go to chinese takeaway since it opened. Food is always fresh, tatsty and never greasy.Staff and delivery drivers are always friendly, polite and will go out of their way to accommodate requests.We have moved away from the area and will really miss the food and service from Chefoo, it will be so difficult to find another chinese takeaway of the same standard :(

Prices were good and when the food arrived it was hot. The prawn crackers were stale and the Kung po veg tasted awful! Not to mention it contained peanuts which it didn’t state on the website!

Ordered food a good few times now and really happy with the service and the great food. I love Chinese food and have tried lots of takeaways but this tops anything I’ve had for a while. Really tasty food, not greasy at all. Order through the website and get delivered to home and it’s easy and delivery has always been on time. Friendly delivery drivers. All round great service

We are regulars of Chefoo, we absolutely love their food. Last night, I requested for a dish to be made slightly differently and they were so kind as to oblige. The food is always fresh, dishes delicious (black pepper honey dish in particular is very yummy) never had a soggy prawn cracker, friendly customer service, and their delivery is very prompt even on their busy nights. Highly recommend. We love Chefoo!

Really disappointed it arrived 20 mins late and was really was tasteless and bland. The special curry was very runny and lacked any meat let alone anything special the black bean chicken didn’t taste of anything. The salt and chilli rib were fatty and had no flavour. McDonald style thin chips. I chose based on the reviews and maybe mine was a one off but we spent £39.00 on a birthday meal which was definitely not up to standard.

Thought we'd try this place for the first time last night as we're only just down the road. Collected our meal so can't comment on delivery. The staff member was really friendly when I arrived. But, onto the food. Probably one of the best Chinese takeaways we've ever had. Still hot when I got home. Really tasty and plenty of it. This will be our new go to Chinese. Absolutely brilliant. I'm not sure what the people who have written bad reviews are talking about. Not over priced, certainly not bland and definitely cooked superbly. I suppose they expected Michelin star food from a takeaway. Or are not happy unless they're complaining. In a nutshell if you want a really good Chinese then I would highly recommend Chefoo.
