The young lady who served us was wonderful, such a shame we had to make changes. No beef burgers, and choice of diet drink limited to coke so those of us who don't drink it lose out... No diet or sugar free sprite, lemonade too, oh only a few starters off the menu and no cream at all. Very let down. So I would definitely think about where to eat next time.If you are thinking of going ask if things are off the menu first before you order a drink.

Very good service from the waiter and manager who dealt with allergy menus 5/5.Was slightly disappointed in the quality of food for the price.Menu made the food sound amazing but when it arrived it seemed a little underwhelming. Most probably, not specific to this restaurant but, more in regards to American chain food.Food was still good and enjoyable - no issues in terms of hygiene or safety

Maybe it was an off-day but this was a very disappointing experience. Our server was friendly enough but not having any potato skins on the menu was a bit like Yo Sushi running out of sushi!None of the servers used trays to bring drinks orders to customer tables, which meant glasses were forced together and left a steady stream of spills all over the restaurant floor. We arrived at opening time (12pm), made the rookie mistake of ordering a couple of starters and, despite numerous polite enquiries, didn't receive our mains until gone 1:15pm.Unfortunately they were not worth waiting for. In fairness, a chicken nuggets off the kids' menu and my veggie burger were fine, although I ordered a salad wedge and had not appreciated 'wedge' is code for chopping the top and bottom off a lettuce and serving the rest as is. Our other orders were less successful. The burger in a children's cheeseburger was burnt to a crisp, and the wraps for a chicken fajita were stuck together, rock hard and completely unfoldable. My 7 year old thought the delay in us receiving our food was because the chefs had left her burger in the oven for so long!By this stage, I think our server had decided we were too high maintenance for her liking so she had gone for a chat in the back. We showed someone else the wraps - they agreed they were unacceptable and would tell the kitchen. We did manage to order the kids' desserts when our mains arrived because by that stage we were running late for something else. Apparently, you are meant to ask your server for the bill, but when she is nowhere to be seen and we were already really late, I was forced to go rogue and use a different channel. The bill was promptly prepared and presented, although the final twist was the TGIF employee - the same one we showed the non-wrappable wraps to - appeared to offer some sort of discount for the offending fajitas on the customer receipt yet still charged me for them on her payment terminal!I didn't have time to get it sorted so yes, overall it was a very disappointing meal, primarily with regard to the quality and availability of the food but also the service which was slow and a little 'uninvested'.

Stopped here for lunch on a Wednesday. When I booked I asked for 2 high chairs. Still had to request 2 high chairs for the table on arrival. For some reason we were see seated right next to another table of 4 (in a mostly empty restaurant). The waitress spoke really quietly which made ordering a little awkward. The food took a long time to arrive. Especially for how quiet the restaurant was. The kids menu says "All our dishes come with tasty sticks of apple, cucumber and carrot" but neither of the kids meals did. Our onion rings were cold. I did notice that they brought out onion rings to the table next to us 5 minutes earlier (that they didn't order) so I suspect these were the same ones just brought back out.Excluding the onion rings the food we did have was generally what you would expect from Fridays but the service let it down.Probably wouldn't come back with so many other options at cribbs causeway.

We had a terrible experience. The host who looked like he left school seated us (2 grown men) at a booth with fixed seating and no leg room because of the design. When we asked to rectify the problem, he didn't show us to the table, he just groaned "sit there".We were served by April who just frowned at us the whole time. Like we were causing her an inconvenience. Back in the day, you could expect exceptional service from TGI Fridays, meeting service staff with personalities and going the extra mile for customer paying premium prices for food.I asked one waiter if they had regular mayonnaise (not vegan mayo) to go with my plate full of meat and he looked at me as if he was tired of hearing that question. His response was, "I'll ask the kitchen" and never came back. Leaving my food to go cold. I take it TGIF's want to save money by forcing customer to use Vegan mayo so they don't have to purchase both. And yes, you can taste the difference. After the meal, April had just slammed the bill on our table because it was convenient for her but made us feel unwelcome.Goes to show that spending £65 on a meal for two doesn't include class.I'm sure the manager of this comment will just reply to this comment and offer 'to make it right' the next time we come in. I would prefer never to return to TGI Friday's again and wish I had read all the reviews of unprofessional service and seen the terrible food pictures.

The manager kept calling my wife darling and then proceed to throw chips over the table as he showed so little professional service. The salad didn't arrive with my wife's steak until we asked and then a lump of lettuce arrived with the worst cheese sauce known to man. This place could not care less about customers. Will never go to another.

Was served a Caesar salad which was meant to be with croutons chicken all the usual things. Instead was met with a plate of lettuce with sauce and a poppodom of all things. Asked for chicken to then be added. Considering we spent nearly £90 here what an absolute waste of money of my part.Edit:What a joke of a response from the owner.

Only thing good about this place is the servers. If I was in the area, I would personal chose another restaurant as it felt like this one has given up.We was welcomed by the staff who were very professional, and welcoming. We ordered our drinks, and then once they arrive our starters and mains. The starters were good, and did taste lovely. The only thing we wasn’t keen was the salad which looked like it was a day old and not fresh. For our mains we had “King Prawn Linguini” and my partner got the “Californian Chicken Club Sandwich”. The Linguini was tasteless and filled with oil, and felt like they had forgotten to put the chillis in when cooking so placed them on top after the meal had been cooked. To finish it off, the king prawns were actually just normal standard prawns. The chicken club, wasn’t much better. It looked like it had been thrown together, and placed on the plate without a care in the world. We did enjoy the sweet potato fries and would recommend these. For our puddings we had a Chocolate Fudge Fixation & Cookie Dough Sundae. These were lovely and were a very generous size. Our server was wonderful and is the only reason this place got a 2 stars. We will sadly be avoiding this location now due to poor food quality and standards.Under some plates you can even feel dried food where they have gone through the dish washer and not been completely cleaned. I had this before at this TGI but put it down to the busy service.
