The Blue Bowl in South Gloucestershire

Ordered a Guinness and a chicken dish. The Guinness was terrible, didn't taste right at all. They did change it without question. Waited 35min for food and it came out burnt and lukewarm. I would try again as it's well priced and they did change the Guinness but I can't give it any more than a 3. Would have been a 2 if they didn't sort the Guinness.

Great meal and cooked to perfection!Went as we had a voucher but when they scanned it, it said it had been used (It had not) but not a problem the bar lady waited while I tried to do it on the app but I had no signal so she said I could use her voucher!! What a star! Got back to the table and now with signal managed to use the app to prove it was still valid.Gurt lush my babber

Very busy when we visited on 13th Feb 2022. Staff were excellent despite the pressure. Lad delivering the food was particularly good. Food itself was great, especially for the price. As chain pubs go it was top notch and amazing value for money

Was okay, think our food order was forgotten about. Didn't get an apology when i asked where my food was. Waited roughly 45mins in an quite period. My family enjoyed their food though 👍

Hello to "the team" brought my Wife back at Her suggestion, real ales still settling a month later?! GET IT SORTED. Meals passable, had to draw a chair up to be served. Not good enough. Captain Andrew William Ferris RN.

Very poor. Miserable staff. Slow service. We waited 50 minutes for food with no information even though it was quiet. Missed our film in the cinema because of it. Emailed the pub to complain and Tom the "manager" accused me of working there. Very strange place and would avoid. If you want a decent meal with friendly service go to the Wishing Well in Longwell Green Aspects.

Was looking forward to a meal. Waitress/Bar staff friendly on arrival. Not informed of any delay on food. Unfortunately it took over an hour and we had to cancel as we’d of missed our plans as we’d allowed sufficient time before hand. Had we had been told of the delay of up to 50 minutes we could have gone elsewhere. A shame really. Just a slight communication problem.

Cold food . leftover food in the extra chips the onion rings had hair cooked into it .cutlery look not washed . dirty tables . a fly in the food and an open ketchup packet . in my whole life i have never had such a bad experience . FIX THIS

Fantastic value meal - I was actually shocked at the quality of the mixed grill my friend and I had tonight. The meat was all high quality and lean, with the steak was cooked exactly how we asked - perfection. It was less than a tenner and came with fried egg with tasty orange yolks, flat mushroom, grilled tomato and chips or salad. Served on a sizzling cast iron skillet atop a wooden board. Staff were also very pleasant. Very clean establishment with staff constantly cleaning surfaces with sanitiser. Definitely worth trying, especially with great options in their extensive menu. The lady taking our order even asked if we had any food allergies or special dietary requirements! They also have a great selection of drinks along with special offer cocktails at two for £6.95. There is on site parking, though not very big, however there is on street parking in abundance. What more can I say?! Definitely a winner.
