love the Bristol golf club, been a member for many years. course and greens looking really good for this time of year

Really good course and very reasonably priced.Nice club house and friendly staff.Good variety of holes no two alike, with two cracking par 3s on the back nine and a very good finishing hole. The walk from the 17th green to the 18th tee is not for the faint hearted tho so definitely book a buggy.

The course is good, an honest, interesting track and worth playing given it's mid range price and strong character. The bar however is massively over priced to the extent that it puts you off visiting and is actually the first thing that I've mentioned when describing the place, rather than the course, which is a shame. £5.75 for a Guinness is crazy given the underwhelming service and facilities, which I found were very lackluster. Prices you'd expect at a 5* venue and to make sure I'm being fair I've been told from a friend Gleneagles charge is £6. As a guest it puts me off visiting again and has actually put off a friend from bristol from joining as a member...having a beer after a round is actually an integral part of the experience for a lot of golfers so to make it so over priced seems a poor decision when the venue warrants average prices and would attract a higher volume of customers. The current price clearly will put off visitors and I can only imagine members feel the same. If my home club charged £5.50+ a pint it would be enough to leave. I get it for weddings and functions but as a member, it's a bit much. A bit of a rant but hopefully constructive criticism as I do love the course.

Had team members tee over our heads on 10th without asking as they had to finish their match before the light went. Looking at the tee times on the app, no two ball to be seen around ours so must've been very late for their time and then thought acceptable to force their way through.Marshall sells drinks primarily and ticks your name off the list but doesn't maintain rate of play. Some of the course is nice, some a bit Micky mouse but all maintained well. New owners seem to be putting a lot into the course although dressing the greens what feels like every other week through summer ruins the golf a little.Enjoyed some of my membership but glad its done and happy to be moving on.

Yes the golf course was very good a bit congested and some delays experienced. Found that in the bar had no atmosphere and seemed more like a waiting hall in an airport than a golf club. Also found that a lot of people playing on the course lacked golf etiquette. It felt more like Woodlands but with a higher price level. In our group we have a lot of golf members and they all said the club lacked something?

What an excellent experience. I have never played this course before but I will be visiting it more often in future. Lovely rolling country side with oodles of water hazards. The greens were the fastest I have ever played on. Every hole was a challenge but an enjoyable challenge and a good experience. Our hosts Robert and Peter were outstanding and briefed us on every aspect of the course so a big thanks to them both. Our match went down to the last hole. The catering was to a very high standard and the service provided by the staff was superb. Sometimes these staff fail to get a mention but for me it was the icing on the cake and rounded off the perfect day.I

Visited here for a party. There are beautiful views, the land is well kept and the grass is very green. There is a beautiful water fountain. The golfing side looks very good, there are gold karts to hire for when you play your round of golf. The bar is reasonably priced. The room we were in was lovely, there were great views from the windowed room, with bi-folding doors out to the patio area. Staff and servers were friendly and welcoming.

A real golfer's treat. Plenty of interesting holes where you really need to think about the placement of your shots. Further enhanced by the lovely views and some beautiful, mature trees. Excellent value for money.

Nice course, challenging in places, greens in good nick and fairways still ok for this time of year. Tee boxs showing a bit of wear but generally all ok. Covid controls in place in the clubhouse and still doing food which was ok. Worth a visit.

When attending seminars or workshops it would really help to have the company name showing on the meeting door or a welcome board in the reception showing which room you're in so that you don't interrupt the wrong room when running late.
